Industrial Planning
The contract stipulated that Lulu Bella would report her whereabouts at any time and be subject to supervision. These two conditions sounded straightforward, but Lulubella didn't immediately agree. Instead, she started negotiating with Zul'ra about the compensation, hoping to secure sufficient funds. ☜✌ ♠♔
On the way to the Valor's Rest, Zul'ra and the Warlock argued over their treatment. As Zul'ra had expected, the Council of the Black Harvest, consisting of Lulubella, Qiubika, Xinfeier, Leitesen, Kyanomir, and Modak, wanted to swallow all the profits and sell the other Warlock to the Horde as slaves.
Zul'ra was naturally not going to let the greedy Council of the Black Harvest succeed. After talking with Lulubella and Xinfeier about the Valor's Rest without any results, the group decided to take a break here.
There are still some members of the tribe at the Tomb of the Warriors. Sanra intends to find Hamuul, who was previously staying there, but is informed by the druid Masre Bear Rider that the old ox is currently on a mission from Archdruid Fandral Staghelm to find a plant called "Morning Wheat" in Un'Goro Crater.
The high priest was forced to become a messenger for a guy who didn't even participate in battles. Zul'ra wanted to complain about Hamuul Runetotem's situation, but ultimately couldn't say anything. He could only continue leading the team away from the Valor's Rest, through the dirt road into the interior of Un'Goro Crater, across a section of riverbank, and to the open-air oil swamp Tokali region discovered by Kor'kron.
The Goblins have established a stronghold on the edge of the open-air oil swamp in the Tokali region, and with the help of Goblins mercenaries, they have expanded the stronghold and added facilities to extract oil. The crude oil in the swamp has a very good content and quality, but it contains some swamp monsters. Also, because of the oil, the Goblins cannot use firearms to attack, but the Shaman have helped.
Those swamp monsters are a type of elemental creature. Elemental creatures roam in sparsely populated wilderness areas. The four normal elements are not common and only appear in specific areas, but there are many elements outside of the four normal elements, such as Dryads, treants, swamp beasts, Ooze, rock giants, etc. In a broader sense, the constructs of mages should also belong to this type of life.
Those elements are very quiet in nature, simply repeating certain behaviors like machines. But if you disturb them, they will retaliate fiercely, which is very troublesome because these things are not elements summoned by mages, but exist naturally in nature, and are difficult to deal with by ordinary means.
The Goblins ' activities in mining open-pit oil swamps in the Tokali region have clearly disturbed the swamp monsters within. While those creatures haven't launched any major attacks yet, just their presence on the shore or near the oil extraction equipment is enough to send chills down one's spine and cause blockages and malfunctions.
Oil is flammable, so the Goblins dared not use firearms to drive it away. Fortunately, the Shaman who participated in the Second War of the Shifting Sands communicated with the elements and persuaded them to leave the work area. However, this was conditional: the oil in the oil swamp had to be kept at a certain water level.
The Goblins engineers have already tested the oil swamp. The open-air oil swamp in Tokali is not only of good quality, but its underground reserves are also incredibly abundant. Without directly draining the crude oil, it will automatically seep out and fill itself up after a period of time. The water level given by the swamp monsters is not very high, so it is not difficult to agree to the swamp monsters' request.
After learning the whole story of the swamp monster incident, Zul'ra was satisfied with the way the monster was dealt with. Although he was developing industry, he did not want to disrupt the existing harmonious environment and situation.
Although Zul'ra did not want to disrupt the harmonious situation, things might turn out as he wished. The Goblins Ratchet in this area, told him that the Seventh Legion of the Alliance, which was retreating from here, had discovered the presence of Tokali. Although they had not taken any action, some Dwarves and humans had stayed behind and were stationed at the exit of the Fire Plume Ridge pass.
Zul'ra was not surprised by the Alliance forces that remained, but to prevent any unforeseen circumstances, he also ordered the Kor'kron who had stayed behind to send a brigade and some Shaman to remain, both to guard against the Alliance and to keep an eye on the Goblins. He also planned to send some cannons and muskets over later to protect the Horde's property here, which greatly pleased Rizek.
In addition to discussing the situation, Rizek also conveyed a message to Zul'ra on behalf of Gazlowe: Ratchet intended to deepen its business ties with the Horde because the war had shown the Steamwheedle Cartel 'Horde strengths, and they planned to order steel materials and components from the Horde to modify their airships and machinery.
The expansion of business was something Zul'ra couldn't be happier about. He readily agreed, but at the same time, he was thinking about how to revise the industrial layout of the Foothill Steelworks, as the machinery and factories there were too disorganized.
Previously, we wanted to upgrade the factory, but we didn't have enough funds. Building new machines or moving equipment would require manpower and resources. But now it's different. Business is booming, and funds are flowing in steadily.
With a surge in business, Zul'ra decided to return to Orgrimmar and upgrade the industrial equipment. Many of the existing steam engines were coal-fired, which, although cheaper, required a lot of manpower and polluted the air, so they needed to be changed as soon as possible.
Not only do we need more advanced equipment, but we also need to separate some factories. Currently, the Horde's equipment for chemical, metallurgical, forging, electrical wiring, and most importantly, machinery production is all crammed into the foothills. This is not only dangerous, but it also makes the already uneven area even more crowded.
The Horde's industry should be formalized as soon as possible, and the smelting equipment should be moved to the mining area on the banks of the Southfury River in the lower Southfury River. It is easier to mine iron ore there and also easier to receive raw materials from outside. It takes a lot of time to transport iron materials from Bladefist Bay to the foothills.
Besides the smelting equipment, the chemical and firearms manufacturing equipment was moved to Felfire Hill and Demon Fall Canyon. The environment, ravaged by demons, was not afraid of being damaged, and it was also close to Nightsong City, which was controlled by Amani'lai. If anything happened, Amani could take control of these industrial areas that could enhance their strength in a timely manner.
The only equipment left in the foothills is machine manufacturing and forging equipment. This is the core industrial equipment and the source of all the machines. It must be protected by the powerful forces of Orgrimmar at all times. As for the empty areas left by the removal of industrial equipment, they can be built into briquette factories.
The Horde's technological upgrades could free it from coal, but electricity cannot be readily available. The burning of fuel for the daily needs of hundreds of thousands of people wastes too much wood, putting great pressure on the Horde. Honeycomb briquettes could be used to solve this problem.
