The wooden cages in the yard were like rooms, packed so tightly that they filled the entire yard, leaving only a narrow passage down the middle. Mondoar waddled along on his short legs, leading Zul'ra and the Tooth-Soldiers through the winding gap until they finally arrived before a large wooden cage.

"Monsens." Mondoar lowered his head and knocked on the cage. Hearing him call out, Zul'ra turned his gaze toward the occupant within. The man wore coarse linen clothes, and unlike Korgar, who had merely been locked up, his feet were shackled in irons.

"Speak!" The man poked his head out from inside the wooden cage, revealing chestnut-brown hair. He looked at the Goblin before shifting his gaze slightly toward Zul'ra, trying to lift his eyes high enough to take in the Troll's full figure.

"You're in luck. You might be leaving this place," Mondoar said with a grin.

"As a slave!" The man carefully sized up Zul'ra, then looked at the grinning Goblin with utter despair.

"Yes, but being alive is better than being dead, isn't it?" Mondoar glanced at Zul'ra, looking somewhat embarrassed.

"You think I can still live after being bought by a Troll?" Monsens retorted.

"How much would it cost to buy him?" Zul'ra asked Mondoar as he looked at the dispirited human in the cage, bending down slightly to inspect him more closely.

"Well, his price is... five, five thousand Almond Coins." Hearing Zul'ra's question, Mondoar hesitated before naming the price. This human had been illegally captured. Though Mondoar had nothing to worry about, it would be best to sell him as soon as possible.

"How many pigs could a hundred gold coins buy?" Zul'ra lowered his eyes to look at the man in the cage. His pink face was stained with grime, stubble covered
