Seeking Intelligence

As for the Nether Dragons and Twilight Dragons, Zul'ra only needed to give the Red Dragonflight queen who governed life a reminder, so the subject quickly came to an end. Alexstrasza summoned two red dragons, Korialstrasz and Rheastrasza, and had them accompany Zul'ra—both to help keep watch on the Black Dragonflight and to serve as a channel of communication between mortals and dragons.

Before letting Korialstrasz and Rheastrasza leave with Zul'ra, Alexstrasza took the two red dragons aside for private instructions. Meanwhile, Zul'ra remained alone in Wyrmrest Temple with Nalis, the ill-intentioned female black dragon.

"How many dragons do you have now? I mean adults and hatchlings combined. And how many dragonspawn and dragon beasts?" Zul'ra asked Nalis for intelligence on the Black Dragonflight. She looked quiet, even somewhat refined and elegant.

"You want to know our intelligence?" Nalis looked at the overbearing Troll but did not get angry. Instead, she flashed a radiant smile.

"Of course." Zul'ra nodded without hesitation.

"Then we'll have to go somewhere else. Do you dare?" Nalis smiled, her gaze carrying both provocation and suggestion.

"Of course." Zul'ra looked at the provocatively suggestive female dragon, sneering inwardly as he nodded again without hesitation.

"Then come on!" Seeing that Zul'ra had taken the bait, Nalis secretly ran her tongue over her teeth, suppressing the urge to lick her lips as she turned and led him out of the Dragon King's hall. Though she despised the Life-Binder, she knew killing someone here would provoke public outrage, so she decided to lure Zul'ra outside.

Watching Nalis turn away, Zul'ra immediately followed. Just as Nalis harbored ill intentions toward him, he too wanted an opportunity to teach this female dragon a lesson.
