Division of the Spoils

Restoring order to Ulduar sounded easy enough, but actually doing it was far from simple.

Ulduar's intelligent mainframe had provided Brann with a plan: pass through the giant tanks known as Flame Leviathans guarding Ulduar and enter the Hall of the Watchers at the heart of the complex.

Because of Loken the King of Wisdom's betrayal, most of the Watchers had fallen under Yogg-Saron's control. However, these Watchers were the Titans' most powerful creations. Unless they willingly defected like Loken, Yogg-Saron could not fully control them. Thus, after taking control of them, Yogg-Saron had Loken imprison the Watchers within the Hall of the Watchers.

The mainframe's plan was for Brann and the others to enter the Hall of the Watchers and put some pressure on the controlled Watchers. Powerful as these Titan-forged Watchers were, a little outside force would be enough to help them awaken.

Once those Watchers awakened, they could use their power to restore order within Ulduar and wipe out the invading undead army.

"What about Loken?" Zul'ra Jin asked Tirion as he sat in the hall of New Hearthglen, setting down the telegram in his hand. That traitorous Titan Watcher should still have been in Ulduar.

"Arthas took care of him." There was a trace of embarrassment on Tirion's bearded face. The Lich King was the man they hated most, yet he had unexpectedly eliminated someone who threatened the world and had indirectly protected it. It was rather absurd when put that way.

"All right. But after the undead are cleared out, what do we do about the Old God beneath Ulduar?" Zul'ra Jin blinked, set down the telegram, and looked toward Bolvar.

"That is precisely what concerns us," Bolvar said, spreading his hands.

"Then what are we waiting for? We should refuse him." Zul'ra Jin bared
