Script Creation Committee

Sylvanas's place on the Script Creation Committee had not been Sangra's idea, but the decision of the Glory Assembly. Of course, if Sangra had been personally in charge, he would have brought her in as well. After all, the Forsaken had practically been created by her alone.

It was also because Sylvanas had conjured an entire Forsaken race out of thin air, and because they did not want Sangra's influence to spread too far, that the Glory Assembly decided to have her and Sangra jointly create a unique written language for the Horde.

When Sangra came to inspect their progress, Sylvanas had already used her professional experience to create more than half of the Horde's exclusive script and language, and she introduced it to the acting Warchief.

The Horde script Sylvanas had created, like the undead language she had commissioned, the Sin'dorei language she had originally used, and the widely known Common tongue, was alphabetic: thirty-seven distinct phonetic letters, along with their corresponding words.

"No. The Horde's script must be unique, not some tiger copied from a cat." After looking over the Horde writing Sylvanas and her people had created, Sangra immediately rejected and criticized it.

A tiger copied from a cat? Sangra's evaluation of the newly created script made Sylvanas's already iron-gray face darken further. She nearly cursed him out, but the refinement she still possessed allowed her to lightly toss back a retort.

"If Zul'ra Jin has any ideas, then create the script you want yourself."

If you can do it, then do it yourself! And Sangra certainly could. Faced with Sylvanas's provocation, he snatched up the book without hesitation, skimmed through it, and spoke.

"Alphabetic scripts, with Common as their representative, may be easy to learn and recognize, but they are too sparse and dry in content.
