Assaulting Skywall

The two-head-tall trolls in the mural had no bent backs, so they were probably Zandalari Trolls. Yet surprisingly, the Zandalari Trolls were not the main figures in the mural. They stood beside a humanoid race with huge bellies, thick beards, and the air of retainers, facing the Neferset Tol'vir in what was clearly a negotiation.

Obviously, the negotiations had ultimately failed. Zul'ra followed the mural downward and saw the Zandalari Trolls join that pot-bellied, thick-bearded humanoid race—who also had two large tusks—in a fierce battle against the Tol'vir. Besides the feline Neferset, some jackals and winged Tol'vir had also joined the war.

The battle had gone badly for the Tol'vir, but the disadvantage was eventually reversed. The Tol'vir gathered around an obelisk, seemingly conducting a magical ritual or using some mysterious weapon. A violently blazing sphere of light covered the entire mural, where the story ended.

"Let me think..." Zul'ra frowned as he studied the mural's seemingly obliterated ending. He remembered that, from the history he had studied in Zandalar, the only race recognized by the trolls as allies that also matched the figures in the mural seemed to be the Mogu.

The Mogu and the Zandalari Trolls had indeed once formed a coalition army and launched a war against some place in the southwest of the Ancient Kalimdor Continent. Yet that war had ultimately come to nothing, and not a single warrior who left had returned. Could the place that coalition had attacked have been Uldum? What had they been after?

Combining the history he had learned in Zandalar with the Tol'vir murals before him, Zul'ra made a few guesses. He then made another two rounds, slipped out without a sound, observed the situation from closer up, and finally headed for the place where he had arranged to meet
