Dark Forest
Dark Forest is a dense jungle south of Silvermoon City and west of Battleaxe Ridge. Unlike Eversong Woods, which is always bathed in spring outside Silvermoon City, Dark Forest has lush vegetation and no sunlight in the forest all year round. There is only one peak rising in the entire forest to receive the sunlight from the sky, so it is named Sunscar Peak.😡🎀 🐊💚
In addition to Sunscar Peak, there is another avenue in Dark Forest. In addition to several branch roads leading to various places, the main trunk of this avenue starts from the trail in the Thalas Mountains in the south, goes straight through Dark Forest and Eversong Woods, and can go all the way to Silvermoon City. This is Forest Road.
Near the intersection leading from Forest Road to Battleaxe Ridge, a group of High Elves was marching. There were about a thousand of them, each of them wearing strong armor and wearing an iron guard against their cheeks. Well, armed with a sharp spear and a staff, Deatholme walked out of the training camp and prepared to go to Zul'Aman to rescue his companions who were surrounded by Trolls there.
Just as the Elvess were marching, there was a sudden roar in the dense jungle, and a steel tomahawk flew out, instantly nailing one Elves Warrior. With the fall of Elves Warrior here, the march of the Elvess instantly broke into an uproar.
Along with the uproar of the Elvess, in the originally lush and uninhabited jungle around them, as if by magic, countless figures that the Elvess had never seen jumped out. Those figures threw spears and throwing axes at the head, and then launched Charges from all directions.
"Defense, defend quickly." In the roar of a captain, the Elves Warrior who had been training at Deatholme all year round wanted to gather together quickly, but those figures that they should be familiar with but were extremely unfamiliar at the moment tore their team apart at an alarming speed.
The figures who attacked Elves were naturally Greenwood Army led by Malacrass. They wore grass rings woven with branches on their heads, held spears, kukri, battle axes, maces and other weapons in their hands, and wore simple armors made of steel or wood. The light in their eyes revealed perseverance.
The reason why Elvess don't recognize their old rivals is because many Trollss stand up straight. Those Trollss who stand tall and straight are now generally over two and a half meters tall, with an average height of about 1.89 meters. When Elvess recognize these old rivals, they will often be knocked to the ground as soon as they meet.
"Mage, Priest, cover us quickly, retreat, retreat." Captain Elves looked at the team that was instantly dispersed, and couldn't help but become a little anxious. While ordering the mage and Priest to cover, he ordered the troops to retreat.
"There are people from behind, we are surrounded." The team at the rear also began to become confused. From the depths of the vast jungle, I don't know how many Trolls rushed out.
"Break through, break out, mage, open a way out, Priest, try your best to rescue our compatriots, and inform General Sylvanas that we have been ambushed and need support." Captain Elves gritted his teeth and roared, then pulled out his broad-bladed sword and charged at the nearest Trolls.
Elves Master and Elves in the team The Priests looked at the situation and couldn't help but grit their teeth. They chanted spells and released several Arcane Missiless, fireballs and ice cones. However, with the number of Trollss from all directions, the lethality and damage volume of their spells were too small, and powerful spellcasting abilities were not so easy to obtain.
Compared with mages, Priests are much easier to handle. As long as they have stable physical strength and willpower and can recite sacred prayers, they can summon the Lights. Those the Lights that descend on Elvess in fierce battles may not be obvious in terms of healing injuries and restoring physical strength, but they are convenient for improving morale, only morale.
Soon Elves gathered together and retreated towards Deatholme. When they broke out of the encirclement, less than half of their number remained. The remaining people were not killed, but they were all trapped in the encirclement. Therefore, Greenwood Army did not continue to pursue the escapees, and those escapees could only turn around and escape after repeated weighing.
"Go and give the order, saying that surrendering can save lives, in the name of the gods." Under the dense jungle, Malacrass looked through his mask at the Elves who were still resisting desperately in the distance, and said to the followers on the side.
"Yes." The hunchbacked Trolls Warrior quickly ran forward, and soon the blunt Thalassian surrender sounds sounded on the battlefield.
The voice of surrender spread throughout the battlefield, and soon, those Elvess who were surrounded by heavy siege and had no hope of escaping, under the silent persuasion and solemn promises of the Trollss, after repeated thinking, they finally resigned themselves to laying down their weapons and chose the glimmer of hope given by the enemy.
"Malacrass, what should we do with those prisoners?" Trolls, a hunchback covered in blood, walked back to Witch Doctor from the battlefield. When he asked the question, he spoke briskly without waiting for Malacrass to speak.
"Perhaps we can take this opportunity to thank the gods."
"I think the gods may not accept your thanks, but Zul'ra Jin will definitely want to use this incident to teach you some lessons that are too impressive to be forgotten." Malacrass looked at Warrior through Voodoo Mask's face.
"But, what can those Pale Ones do if they stay? They will only cause us trouble and drag down our soldiers?" The hunchback Trolls's expression fell slightly, then he raised his eyes and looked up at Voodoo Mask on Witch Doctor's face.
"They will not be left behind, but will be sent to Anowien. The road there is not far. Zul'ra Jin specifically warned that no prisoners can be killed unless there is an accident. Moreover, Dikara... did you see clearly just now?" Malacrass moved his eyes to look at the battlefield.
"What do you see clearly?" The hunchback Trolls Dikara followed Malacrass and looked towards the battlefield.
"Words are much more lethal than weapons. Faced with weapons, Elves would rather bleed to death, but faced with words, they surrender easily." Malacrass said in deep thought.
"That's because we hold weapons." Dikara curled his lips.
"How many prisoners are there?" Malacrass did not talk to Dikara anymore, but asked Trolls who was walking aside.
The Trolls who walked over had a straight and upright figure. Ever since Zul'ra returned to Zul'Aman from Zandalar, some Forest Trollss started to straighten up their bodies. After the release of "Ancient History", this phenomenon became more common. Amani'lai's tall and upright figure even made those former opponents unable to react.
"Two hundred and twenty-seven, most of them were injured." Upright Trolls saluted with his fists and chest.
"Just treat them briefly, and then send a group to send them to Anowien. Remember to tell the prisoners that we will keep our promise, so that they can prevent them from making trouble. In addition, we will inform you that this is just a group of forward troops. The next battle will become more and more difficult. Everyone must be prepared, and..." Malacrass lowered his eyes slightly, and then issued a series of orders.
Soon, a series of battlefield summaries were written on paper and handed over to the Faith Eagle to take back to the east. At the same time, the two hundred and twenty-seven Elves prisoners were escorted by nearly a hundred Trolls to the nearby Anowien, which was the temple of Elves, but was currently surrounded by a town of the White-Ear Army.
