Struggle
Gradually, as Shiro became more proficient in the Eight Great Moves, he was able to execute them more smoothly, of course, this was under the condition that Dai was holding back.
Otherwise, Shiro's Eight Great Moves still wouldn't be able to be connected. After all, Shiro isn't a martial arts genius. His rapid progress is due not only to Dai's guidance but also to Li Shuwen's experience.
However, Shiro only Projection once or twice. Although he had deliberately preserved it, he still didn't retain much experience, and it wasn't of much help to Shiro.
At most, it can correct Shiro's movements during training. Only when Shiro follows this feeling will his movements not become distorted, but that's all.
It doesn't help Shiro much in actual combat either; this is the limit for now. After that, he really has to rely on himself, unless Projection again.
Although he has mastered a relatively coherent Eight Great Moves fighting style, Shiro did not rush to try the Six Great Openings, but continued to experiment with new combinations of the Eight Great Moves.
This included Li Shuwen's combination, but Shiro gave up after trying it once; that level of combination was not something he could handle.
His current goal is to be able to freely connect the Eight Great Moves. He doesn't need to be perfect, just not too awkward. This is also to prevent Shiro from being at a loss when his Eight Great Moves are interrupted.
After a morning of practice, Shiro's Eight Great Moves were already quite good, although the transitions were still not smooth.
However, Shiro checked the time and realized it was almost time for Kai to get out of school, so Shiro stopped Dai.
"Uncle Dai, Kai will be out of school soon. Let's stop for a bit; we need to go pick him up."
"Ah, it's so late. Well then, as punishment for forgetting Guy, hop to the Ninja Academy!" With that, he began to hop.
While jumping, she said to Shiro, "Want to ignite our passionate youth together, Shiro!"
"Fine, we're going the same way. I'm going to pick someone up too, but I'll skip the frog jump."
"Alright! Let's go!"
After saying that, he skipped towards the Ninja Academy, while Shiro shrugged and followed behind Dai.
People pointed and whispered about them along the way. Dai, of course, was used to it after all these years, but Shiro was initially not used to it.
However, since they were friends, I should share these burdens and not run away from them! Of course, the Green Spandex Suit was absolutely out of the question!
Therefore, Shiro can now ignore these things and follow behind him with a normal expression.
This is why Dai and the others trust Shiro so much; after all, being simple-minded doesn't mean being stupid, and they can still tell who is truly sincere to them.
And so, amidst a sea of disapproving glances, the two arrived at the Ninja Academy. Ninja Academy hadn't let out yet, so a bunch of parents were still waiting around.
Clearly, Dai was not one to sit still, so he began training as if no one else was around. However, afraid of disturbing them, Dai kept quiet. After all, Si Shiro was by his side; it didn't matter if he lost face, he couldn't let Shiro be implicated.
Even so, some people are still dissatisfied.
"Hey, you over there, don't disturb everyone, okay? No matter how much you train, you'll only ever Genin. What's the point? Hahaha!"
"Hahaha~" The people around him laughed along. In their eyes, Dai was indeed just a clown.
However, seeing that Dai ignored their thoughts, Shiro just gave them a cold look and said nothing. After all, Dai was the elder now, and everything should be done according to his wishes.
"Hey, did you hear me? I'm talking to you! You piece of trash who'll always Genin!" He said angrily, probably because Dai ignored him and made him lose face.
While it's true that elders should be respected, there are exceptions, such as now.
"Whoosh!"
Shiro Body Flicker Technique closed the distance and grabbed the other person by the neck!
Although Shiro can't use Chakra now, he can still use Taijutsu. It's just a matter of taijutsu -Body Flicker Technique, which Shiro has been able to do for a long time.
Using Ninjutsu against this kind of guy would be a waste.
"Oh? Who did you just call trash? Tell me and I'll let you go."
"Hehe."
"Ha, you're pretty stubborn. Tell me, and I'll let you go. I, Emiya Shiro, always keep my word." As he spoke, Shiro increased the pressure on his neck.
"Alright, Shiro, we're all from the same village, put him down."
"Understood, Uncle Dai." After saying that, Shiro glanced at him, casually tossed him aside, and threw him against the wall.
"Cough cough."
"Heh, if you have any complaints, you can come find me. My name is Emiya Shiro. Of course, if you want to deal with my family, I think the Police Force would be more than happy to welcome you," Shiro said, looking at his slightly resentful eyes.
After saying that, Shiro walked back to Dai's side, but this time no one dared to laugh at him.
"Shiro, are you alright? You've really offended him."
"Don't worry, he's just a small fry. It's nothing serious. The Uchiha Police Force can usually handle most things. I have some connections with them, and Sakumo also sent Anbu to protect my parents."
Hearing what Shiro said, Dai's anxiety subsided, and he focused on training.
Shiro wasn't just trying to comfort Dai; he was telling the truth. At that age, he was still Genin, and he couldn't even dodge Shiro's taijutsu Body Flicker Technique without using Chakra. At best, he'd only ever be Chunin.
They're the kind of Chunin seniority; on the battlefield, they're just cannon fodder.
To be honest, Dai's strength was enough to completely overwhelm his opponent. Dai's weakness was that he didn't know Ninjutsu, which was why he couldn't pass the Chunin Exams. This was also why his opponent looked down on him, and it was one of the village's weaknesses.
However, Shiro doesn't have a good way to improve the situation. He is of low status and has no say, and Dai is unwilling to use the Eight Inner Gates on his own people.
According to him, the use of the Eight Inner Gates is a self-defined line. The technique itself has no limitations; what limits you is yourself. Therefore, he would rather Eternal Genin forever than use the Eight Inner Gates on the villagers.
To be more precise, he can only use the Eight Inner Gates when he deems it usable, and the only criterion is against the enemy; he wouldn't even do it if asked to hit a rock.
Shiro couldn't do anything about this stubbornness, since he never used the Eight Inner Gates during training, and even when teaching Guy, he only taught it verbally and never demonstrated it.
This is why Kai gradually lost confidence in Taijutsu later on.
Therefore, as of now, Dai remains a Genin. However, these issues can only be addressed later.
Thinking of this, Shiro shook his head; he was quite helpless with such a stubborn person.
Soon after, the Ninja Academy let out. Dai didn't call out; Guy would run over on his own, since their positions were quite conspicuous.
However, Shiro had to search carefully, since the white-haired guy didn't know that Shiro had come to pick him up. Fortunately, the white-haired guy was easy to find, and Shiro found Kakashi in no time.
"Hey Kakashi, over here!"
