The Dream Returns
However, not all of these thousand Jonin can be mobilized.
First of all, many of them are elderly. Although they still have the strength of Jonin, their physical strength and energy are greatly lacking. They generally won't be mobilized unless the village is in a critical situation.
There are also ninjas from various clans, who are even more difficult to mobilize. Basically, apart from a few major clans, at most a hundred or so can be drawn from them, and the rest are the clans' insurance.
Secondly, both the Anbu and Root have their own special missions and generally do not directly participate in wars unless in particularly urgent situations.
Therefore, normally, the Hokage can Jonin around three hundred Jonin unless there is a threat of village annihilation.
However, this is still very impressive. Other countries would be considered very powerful if they could spare 200 people.
There was no way around it; the foundation laid by the First Hokage and his team was simply too solid. Konoha had no shortage of resources, and even had surplus to trade with other countries.
Therefore, Shiro's strength is actually quite good. If we disregard the duration of the battle, Shiro already possesses the strength of Jonin.
However, Shiro was not satisfied with this!
Shiro's long-term goal is the Fourth Shinobi World War, while his short-term goal is the inevitable Nine-Tails Incident. With his current strength, he will probably only be able to barely protect himself during the Nine-Tails Incident.
Especially after this battle with the Seven-Tails, Shiro became even more aware of the gap between himself and the Nine-Tails. The Nine-Tails was a being that could fight against several others with only half the Chakra it possessed, and its strength was not to be underestimated.
At the same time, Shiro didn't believe that Madara would let this opportunity pass. The more Shiro understood the village's strength, the clearer he became about Madara's determination to launch the Nine-Tails Incident.
The Nine-Tails Incident cannot be stopped unless Kushina becomes infertile; otherwise, Madara will not let this opportunity pass.
Therefore, Shiro felt the pressure on him increasing. Fortunately, Shiro were only a few difficulties left to overcome in building the Magecraft Workshop, and it would be finished soon.
Currently, Shiro has already prepared all the conditions for advancing to Rank B, and he also has the Seven-Tails 'Chakra, so there's no need for him to risk going to Kushina.
Now, all that's left is the Magecraft Workshop. Once that boundary is broken, Shiro will take off completely!
He could then consider ending the matter of Madara ahead of schedule.
However, these are still a long way off for Shiro at the moment. For now, he should focus on studying Magecraft.
After looking at the Magecraft Scroll for a while, Shiro went to sleep, understanding the Shiro that too much of a good thing can be bad.
"Beep! Beep!"
"Are you looking for death? In such a hurry to be reincarnated? Didn't you see me?"
"Hurry up, are you going to process it or not? No way!"
"That is."
In the darkness, Shiro shook his head, carefully trying to discern the faint sounds coming from his surroundings.
He felt as if the whole world was spinning, his head was spinning, but he still shook his head hard to clear his mind and walked towards the source of the sound. His intuition told him that this was important.
And so, Shiro staggered toward the source of the sound.
Unfortunately, before Shiro even arrived, the sounds vanished completely.
At that moment, a sound came from another direction.
"Ding-ding~ Winter~~ Up."
"Bang~ Bang~ Bang~ Clang!"
However, these sounds were even fainter than the previous ones, and much of what they contained was inaudible. Even so, Shiro persevered and walked toward that direction.
Just like before, Shiro had only taken two steps when the sound completely disappeared. This time, there was no sound at all, and Shiro stood quietly in the darkness.
His mind grew increasingly foggy and heavy, and at the same time, Shiro felt his consciousness gradually fading away. He was unwilling to accept it, but he was powerless to stop it.
"Ah!"
Shiro suddenly sat up in bed, panting heavily.
"Shiro, what's wrong?" Keiko asked worriedly after hearing Shiro's shout from the living room.
"Hiss~ Huff~" Shiro took a deep breath to regulate his breathing before replying, "It's nothing, Mom, just a bad dream."
"Okay, then hurry up and wash up, get up and eat something, everything's ready."
"I see."
After dealing with Keiko, Shiro did not get up immediately, but continued to sit on the bed and think.
The situation this time is exactly the same as after returning from the Land of Demons. Shiro originally thought that it had been suppressed by meditation, but he didn't expect it to reappear now.
And just like before, there was no information about the dream at all. If it had only happened once or twice, Shiro would have thought it was a coincidence, but the same thing had happened several times already.
This left Shiro no choice but to pay attention. Although Shiro appeared to be sitting blankly on the bed, he was actually browsing through the relevant information in the system.
Unfortunately, after searching for a long time, Shiro couldn't find anything that matched his situation.
This is normal, though. Everyone is unique, especially Magecraft, whose differences are even greater due to their Origin.
Therefore, Shiro did not find any valuable information. Of course, it is also possible that Shiro searched incorrectly and the information he wanted was not displayed.
However, Shiro couldn't do anything about it. The system's database was vast and complex, making it impossible to search for each one individually. Besides, the system was just Artificial Idiot.
Without any relevant keywords or information, Shiro gave up on finding answers from the system after several attempts.
He then began to summarize the commonalities among himself in experiencing this phenomenon, and surprisingly, Shiro actually found one.
That is, every time this situation occurs, it is basically when he overuses Chakra, putting a huge burden on his Magic Circuits.
Specifically, it started when he defeated the Cannon Fodder Snake and was overloaded for the first time, but at the time, Shiro didn't take it to heart.
After that, Shiro didn't notice this until he returned from the Land of Demons. However, at that time he thought it was the work of Moryo, so after suppressing it with meditation, Shiro didn't pay much attention to it.
The result is that this has now overturned Shiro's previous guess.
However, Shiro now has a new guess: does this dream only appear after being overloaded? Or is it possible that Shiro is unaware of this dream at other times?
Shiro had no clue about this. There was too little information at the moment, and he couldn't analyze anything at all. He couldn't even remember the contents of his dream, so how could he analyze it?
In the end, Shiro gave up for the time being. There was no point in thinking about it now, as he didn't know any information. He should focus on healing his injuries first, as there might be relevant information in the Noble Phantasm of some Heroic Spirit.
Moreover, even without it, after his injuries heal, Shiro can quickly learn Magecraft knowledge with the help of the Noble Phantasm, and there is a possibility that he can figure it out on his own.
Without further hesitation, Shiro immediately got out of bed. He needed to go to the hospital to get more medicine to replenish his supplies, so he didn't have much time to waste.
