This Noble Phantasm that deploys a mist barrier. The mist itself, created using Mana, is Noble Phantasm. Although it is said to "disperse the crowd," non- Magecraft who insist on staying inside the barrier will die after several rounds.

The user of this Noble Phantasm can choose who will be affected by the fog and who will not. Because the fog will disorient the user, escaping requires the skill "Instinct" of rank B or higher, or the use of some kind of Magecraft.

Following the Industrial Revolution, the massive amounts of coal smoke emitted in the city became sulfuric acid fog in the 1950s, causing a major disaster in London. "Dark Foggy Metropolis" is the Noble Phantasm that recreates that "fog of death."

Shiro chose it as the first conceptual Noble Phantasm to study because of its barrier properties; through it, Shiro might be able to clarify his own Reality Marble more quickly.
