The Emperor truly was the greatest man of his age. Even after being mobbed by eighteen Primarchs, he remained as dashing as ever. That swollen black eye, in particular, made him look just like a martial arts grandmaster from ancient Terra in the 2K era.

Seeing the Primarchs gearing up for a second round, the Emperor hurriedly called out to stop them:

"Wait, don't hit me yet!"

"I'm your father! You can't treat me like this. Why did you all throw in your lot with Malice after she'd only been here a few days? I raised you for ten thousand years!"

"Horus, why are you just standing there watching? Have you forgotten how we fought side by side through blood and fire, our bond as comrades who were father and son in name, but brothers in truth?"

The bald Ogryn whose name had been called stepped forward. He'd thrown a few punches himself earlier, but the Emperor's look made him feel awkward. To ease the tension, he could only try to talk him down:

"Father, why do this to yourself? We didn't invite you because we didn't want to embarrass you. What's done is done. You should just go back where you came from."
