Chapter 508: Old Acquaintances
There was no doubt that the T'au Empire was a young race with tremendous potential. In just five thousand years, they had developed the strength to establish themselves in the Galaxy. Given enough time, they might even have managed to secure a foothold in the Ultima Segmentum.
But reality offered no such guarantees. No matter how great their potential, development always took time, and by the looks of things, the T'au were probably doomed.
They'd missed the Great Crusade's sweeping purge, only to catch the Chaos Gods' arrival ten thousand years later. Worse, the Gods and Hogg had taken turns dragging them through hell. Talk about T'au luck.

After the Lemon Fists' assault, the Chaos Gods' arrival, Warp corruption, the Daemons' rampage, and Psionic Energy infection—five smooth, back-to-back blows—Dorn's Space Marines took over the entire sector without a hitch. Even the local forces had failed to put up any organized resistance.
Hogg casually grabbed an oblivious Warp snack and swallowed it in one bite. The two T'au civilians nearby fainted in terror, and the Imperial Guard who arrived afterward took them into custody.
With other Xenos, whether or not they had rebelled, human armies wouldn't bother keeping prisoners. They'd simply kill them.
But the Lemon Fists had already sampled T'au snacks. They weren't about to let these delicious friends go to waste. Dorn was counting on T'au-T'au
