As he spoke, a poster was brought before Hogg. It was the very same recruitment poster used during World War II. The Captain America depicted in it was quite handsome, and already bore a striking resemblance to Guilliman.

"That's me. I was still skinny back then!"

Nick Fury glanced at Hogg, who was a full head taller than him even while seated, then roared and slapped the poster down on the table.

"That's obviously not you! Who the hell do you think you're fooling?"

"Don't make such a fuss. Couldn't I have had a second growth spurt?" Hogg said, unconcerned. He even made a rather discriminatory gesture, then produced a watermelon from who knew where and began wolfing it down in front of the Black director.

"Enough! You've been insulting me this whole time. I don't know what kind of freak you are, but my people have examined that dragon-fruit peel and discovered it isn't from Earth.

So tell me: what are you doing in the Captain's body? A ghost, a visitor from another world, an alien, or some second personality that popped out of nowhere?"

There were only three people in the interrogation room. Seeing that his true identity had been exposed, Hogg dropped the act and spoke in a voice like a man with terminal throat cancer.

"IM batman!"

"What? Batman!" Hearing the unknown creature try to bullshit him yet again, Nick Fury flew into a rage. He shut off the surveillance cameras, then, to Natasha's relief, pulled out a pistol and pointed it at Hogg's nose.

"Mother fuck, you have the nerve to call yourself Batman? You overgrown freak, pumped full of growth hormones! I won't let you insult my childhood hero. Take that back!"
