Looking at the hardcover in his hands, Sillago couldn't help feeling he had been swindled. After skimming it for a while, he discovered that 80% of this hefty tome, the Blacklight Scripture, was a collection of jokes. Only two tenths were useful.

Of those two tenths, one tenth covered how to develop a cult, trick believers into forming an organization, make use of most Xenos species across the Galaxy, and build massively overpowered nuclear bombs in a base for the purpose of self-destruction.

Sillago's heart bled. In exchange for this peerless masterpiece, he had promised Hogg he would look after the Alaitoc family for 8,000 years. He hadn't expected to end up with a joke book.

"Impossible. Hogg wouldn't lie to me."

Clinging to his last hope, Sillago turned his attention to the final volume, titled Loyalty is the Best Reward. With a name that direct, it was bound to contain some real gems.

Sure enough, when he opened the cover, Sillago was deeply shocked by the depraved ideas within. Not one word in this thing had anything to do with loyalty. It was nothing less than a guide to teaching readers how to rebel.
