Written at the very beginning: the timeline was set after the ending, so the characters' personalities would differ somewhat from the main story.
"Generally speaking, this is what I have to deal with every day."
Roboute Guilliman clapped his hands, smiling. He wore sunglasses, and the image coming through from the projection only showed his upper body, but Lion El'Jonson still saw the completely unbuttoned floral shirt he was wearing.
The lion frowned.
"You should at least button it up."
He spoke with no small amount of reproach. "As one of the Imperium's Primarchs, even if you are on leave now, you should still maintain your bearing."
The smile on Guilliman's face grew even brighter after that.
He said unhurriedly, "I think, Leon, you should first consider how you're going to handle my work. You're not good at these things, are you?"
The Lion snorted coldly. "What is difficult about this? It is merely some simple administrative work."
"But you have never had any experience handling them."
Lion El'Jonson said calmly, "You have absolutely no need to worry about me. Such simple matters can be mastered by me quickly without any need for study."
"Well..."
Roboute Guilliman gave an ambiguous smile, then raised a hand in final farewell. Behind him were blue sky, white clouds, and the vast sea. A light breeze brushed through his short hair. Freed from work, his entire person seemed extremely happy.
"Then, goodbye, brother. Good luck."
With a buzz, the projection vanished.
Lion El'Jonson shook his head in dissatisfaction. He disliked the laxness Guilliman displayed while on vacation.
He preferred the Roboute Guilliman who was usually extremely serious. That Roboute Guilliman could handle anything in perfect order and knew everything in the Imperium, from top to bottom, like the back of his hand.
