Back in Africa, no Dimensional Gods had descended through the hollow for three whole hours. The sky gradually darkened, and He Shenyan could feel Shuma-Gorath's aura rising within that hollow. Clearly, It kept Its word.
This ancient old god had blocked the vast majority of Dimensional Gods trying to enter Earth for him within the time-disordered outer dimensions, and the mage was deeply moved by this.
What a good person!
If this didn't count as a good person, what did? Selfless devotion, heroic combat, keeping the enemy outside the world on humanity's behalf—He Shenyan thought that if he were the Sorcerer Supreme, he would have to grant It the honorary title of Kamar-Taj guardian.
—However, that aside, how was this hollow supposed to be eliminated? And of course, there was the most crucial point.
Where were the Angels?
They still had not appeared, and He Shenyan did not believe this winged scum were sleepwalking. And there was none of that disgusting holy feeling they carried in the aura spilling out of the hollow, which meant they were not in the outer dimensions.
At this thought, the mage narrowed his eyes. Just as he was about to summon Chthon over again for a proper chat, a communication from the Sanctum Sanctorum interrupted him.
"He!" Strange's voice was filled with urgency. "Are you all right?!"
"I'm fine."
The mage answered, his voice carrying a strange note. Strange had clearly picked up on it. He paused for two seconds, then asked, "What happened?"
"Long story short. Shuma-Gorath made a deal with me, and It very selflessly chose to help us. At the moment, It's outside the world fighting a bloody battle against a huge crowd of Dimensional Gods. Mm, Strange, I suggest you set up a memorial tablet for It."
