Before today, Pedro Kantor had never imagined he would hear such a terrifying battle plan from Steve Rogers.
The Flesh Curse.
After the Glyph Array explained it to him in detail, the Chapter Master of the Crimson Fists immediately fell silent. From the Glyph Array's description, this weapon was almost equivalent to one of Nurgle's plagues. Yet it was a kind of "magic" released by the Glyph Array—or rather, a spell constructed from the knowledge of the captain of the Vengeance.
Two words flashed through Pedro's mind, screaming inside him in a voice filled with terror—"Heresy!"
"Are you all right, Pedro?"
Steve's voice pulled him out of that state. Pedro raised his head and found the Primarch looking at him with concern.
"I..." Pedro opened his mouth, but had no idea what to say, and so the scene once again lapsed into an awkward silence.
Fortunately, the two of them were not the only ones present.
Cato Sicarius came to Pedro's rescue in time, and the latter felt a surge of gratitude. He did not know whether the Second Captain had done it intentionally, but his action had indeed spared Pedro from a painful exchange.
"My lord, forgive my bluntness, but this curse you speak of is truly appalling."
Sicarius frowned, trying hard to find the right words to describe what he was thinking. "...Don't you think this curse seems somewhat familiar?"
"I know what you're thinking, Sicarius, but it isn't the kind of power you imagine it to be. I saw He use this Flesh Curse a long time ago. Yes, although in terms of its manifestation it does somewhat resemble Nurgle's plagues, the essence of the two is in fact completely different."
Steve began to speak at length, his words so fluent he did not sound at all
