The hubbub of the crowd reached them as their coworkers streamed over in groups of three or five.

They exchanged a smile and, as if by unspoken agreement, quickly moved apart.

"Zhang Yang, you've been quick to leave work lately." Sister Wang and the others walked in with a laugh. "Bei Wei, leaving so early? Is your boyfriend waiting for you downstairs?"

Bei Wei smiled with pursed lips and sneaked a glance at Zhang Yang.

"Sister Wang, who says I have a boyfriend?"

"No way. That guy chasing you still hasn't made the cut? He drives a Porsche and brings you afternoon tea, and you're still putting him to the test?" Sister Wang asked in surprise.

"I still think it's better to know someone inside and out," Bei Wei joked, in a way only Zhang Yang understood.

"You mean someone close by?" Sister Wang laughed, then glanced at Zhang Yang and teased, "Zhang Yang, did you hear that? Bei Wei wants someone she knows inside and out. You're single, so why not give it a try?"

Bei Wei looked at Zhang Yang, grinning to herself.

Just then, the elevator doors opened. Everyone laughed and teased one another as they filed out.

Down in the company parking lot, Zhang Yang had barely settled into his seat when Bei Wei slipped into the passenger seat and took the initiative to give him a passionate kiss.

"Hi, boyfriend I know inside and out."

"'Inside and out,' huh? Sounds like you have someone specific in mind." Zhang Yang savored Bei Wei's sweet breath as he reached out to explore.

It had been a few days. Bei Wei should be completely recovered by now, right?
