After Zhou defeated Chen Xin in a sword duel, Tang San secured the Speed Clan for the Tang Sect with a hidden weapon demonstration and promises of support.

• Ning Fengzhi sent Ning Rongrong toward Canghai City and asked Gu Rong to search for Zhu Zhuqing, while Shui Bing’er’s friends helped her flee the Shui Clan and Shui Yuanbo began confronting corruption within it.
• Zhu Zhuqing reached Canghai City and learned about its new lord as Zhou Qiubai and Yang Guyun discussed the Breaking Clan’s plans to relocate there.
• Yang Wudi and Niu Gao chose Canghai City over Tang San’s proposed alliance, while White Crane left with Tai Tan and the Speed Clan.
• Zhou Qiubai challenged Chen Xin at the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and defeated him in a fierce sword duel, earning Ning Fengzhi’s respect and an offer of alliance.
• Ning Fengzhi agreed to trade through Canghai City, declined to pursue a marriage between Zhou Qiubai and Ning Rongrong, and warned Zhou that Spirit Hall was courting the Shui Clan.
• Tang San welcomed White Crane to the Tang Sect’s cause by demonstrating the Godly Zhuge Crossbow and promising resources and hidden weapons for the Speed Clan.
• White Crane gave Tang San a Crystal Blood Dragon Ginseng, then committed the Speed Clan to the Tang Sect after weighing the danger of breaking with Yang Wudi and Niu Gao.

Bibi Dong sent Spirit Hall forces to attack Canghai City, but Zhou Qiubai and its defenders destroyed the expedition and captured Ghost Leopard. The victory brought new clans and Shui Bing’er to the city, while Bibi Dong faced a challenge to her position as Pope.

• Tai Tan welcomed the Speed Clan into the Tang Sect as Bibi Dong prepared an attack on Canghai City.
• Xie Ru explained to Zhou Qiubai and Yang Guyun how the God Realm controlled the path to godhood, then warned them that Bibi Dong was mobilizing against their city.
• Qian Renxue learned of the planned expedition and chose to let it test Canghai City, while Heaven Dou agents and Zhou Qiubai also discovered the advancing force.
• Demon Bear Douluo led eight hundred Spirit Hall Soul Masters to demand Canghai City's surrender, but the city's defenses trapped Ghost Leopard and its defenders resisted the assault.
• Zhou Qiubai formed his seventh soul ring and killed Demon Bear Douluo with a single sword strike, while Yang Guyun joined the attack and all eight hundred Spirit Hall Soul Masters fell.

Zhou Qiubai entered the Star Dou Forest seeking a way beyond conventional soul rings, earned Di Tian’s support, and gained a seventh soul ring from the Swordback Dragon. As Qian Renxue took the Heaven Dou throne, Zhou Qiubai returned with Tang Hao’s Spirit Bones and prepared an auction that would expose the continent’s hidden rivalries.

• Qian Renxue stripped Bibi Dong of command over Spirit Hall’s armies, while news of Canghai City’s victory drew refugees and Rogue Cultivators to the city.
• Shui Yuanbo killed Shui Yuanming and arranged the Shui Clan’s relocation to Canghai City, while the Wind and Fire Clans also chose to move.
• Zhou Qiubai traveled to the Lake of Life, defeated Er Ming without killing him, and explained to Da Ming that Xiao Wu had sacrificed herself for Tang San.
• Di Tian heard Zhou Qiubai describe the cycle of conflict between humans and Spirit Beasts, pledged to help him, and promised protection in the Star Dou Forest.
• Zhou Qiubai defeated the Swordback Dragon, which gave its life to become his seventh soul ring, while Yang Guyun also secured a seventh soul ring.

Tang San and the Clear Sky Sect tried to reclaim Tang Hao’s Spirit Bones at auction, but Spirit Hall won the bid and the dispute erupted into a battle outside Heaven Dou City. Yang Guyun killed four Clear Sky Sect elders, while Tang San watched the clans prepare to leave the city.

• Tang San learned that Tang Hao’s two inherited Spirit Bones would be auctioned and arranged for the Clear Sky Sect to hear about it, while Xue Qinghe’s decree against slavery led to a purge of noble slave traders.
• Qian Renxue learned Zhou Qiubai and Yang Guyun possessed Tang Hao’s Spirit Bones and sent She Long to negotiate with them, while Dantai Canglan brought the captive Ghost Leopard to Dugu Manor.
• At the auction, Tang Qingqing and Tang Lie claimed the Spirit Bones for the Clear Sky Sect, but Spirit Hall outbid them and Zhou Qiubai challenged the sect’s claim to Tang Hao’s inheritance.
• Tang Lie attacked after Spirit Hall won, and Dantai Canglan stopped the battle from endangering civilians and ordered both factions out of Heaven Dou City.
• Outside the city, Yang Guyun refused Tang Qingqing’s demand that he submit to the Clear Sky Sect, and Zhou Qiubai and Yang Guyun fought the four elders as Tang San held back his hidden weapons.
• Yang Guyun killed Tang Lie, Tang Qingqing, Tang Ziyi, and Tang Fangrui, then Zhou Qiubai and his companions left before the city patrol arrived.
• By dawn, rumors of the four elders’ deaths spread through the city as Tang San watched Power and Agility Clan disciples load boxes onto carriages at the Tang Sect’s temporary residence.
