"Sha Wujing?"
Gaara tilted his little head, his face beneath his short red hair full of confusion.
Guy crouched down to meet his eyes.
Glancing at the string of white jade prayer beads hanging around Gaara's neck, he explained softly:
"Sha stands for the Land of Wind, where you were born and raised."
"Wu is my hope that one day you'll see clearly and understand your own heart and the path you want to take."
"Jing is my wish that you'll leave the darkness of your past behind and find peace and a new beginning."
Gaara clearly didn't understand.
But he didn't seem to mind, either.
He simply looked at Guy with eyes a little clearer than before, then gave a small nod.
"Okay. My name is Sha Wujing."
Guy rubbed Gaara's head.
"Sha Wujing is just a name you'll use for now."
"Gaara is still your real name."
"When you feel you have the power to change everything, you can go back to calling yourself Gaara."
Gaara nodded lightly.
The moment his new name was settled,
the Bunpuku Teakettle, which had been set on the ground behind him, suddenly began to shake again without warning!
A great mass of yellow sand poured out from inside the teakettle.
It was no ordinary sand.
Mixed into it were fragments of flesh left behind by Sha Wujing, peeling away from the teakettle's inner walls!
The strange sand, mingled with flesh, surged out as though it were alive.
It rapidly wrapped around the entire Bunpuku Teakettle, covering it completely!
Then still more fine yellow sand gathered from somewhere unknown, streaming toward the covered teakettle like rivers flowing into the sea!
Under some invisible force, it began to take shape at a frantic pace!
Guy watched in astonishment as the black teakettle's form changed
