Two months later.
Guy appeared outside a city of towering steel buildings, carrying Sand Wukong and Yota on his shoulders.
Yota stared wide-eyed at the tall, cold metal buildings ahead and propped up his little chin curiously.
"Great Mage, is this our new home?"
Sand Wukong looked around curiously too.
Guy smiled and shook his head.
"No. This is Amegakure, in the Land of Rain."
"We're just passing through to take care of something. Once we're done, we'll go home."
"Oh."
The two little ones answered and said nothing more.
Over the past two months, they had passed through plenty of towns with Guy and had grown used to it.
But the buildings in this city did look unusual.
Steel structures rose everywhere, with towers looming above them.
Everything was dark and gloomy. The sky was gray, and the air was damp.
Guy rubbed the two little ones' heads, shouldered his enormous pack, and walked into Amegakure.
At his pace, he could have reached Amegakure long ago.
But Guy had not rushed during those two months.
For one thing, he had been nursing Yota back to health.
The boy's clan had overused his abilities, leaving his body severely depleted and frail.
Guy had carefully cared for him with Yang Release Chakra and his knowledge of medicine.
Now the boy was as healthy as any other child.
For another, Guy had spent the journey teaching Sand Wukong to feel and control sand.
He had also taught Yota not to rely entirely on his emotions to affect the weather.
He needed to learn to sense and control it consciously.
Since nothing was urgent, Guy had taken his time.
At Amegakure's entrance, Guy stopped, surprise crossing his face.
The guards checking arrivals were not wearing traditional Rain Hidden Village attire.
