The Sky Screen continued playing.
[Sasuke turned back, staring at the gravely wounded Naruto in utter shock. "What happened?"]
[Uchiha Shin stood up and laughed brazenly. "This is my ocular jutsu. Well? It's no worse than yours, is it?"]
[With that, he curled one hand around empty air, slowly tightening his grip.]
[The next moment, the sword in Naruto's abdomen slowly sank deeper. Naruto could only endure the excruciating pain, gripping the blade tightly as blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, his eyes fixed in a fierce glare at Uchiha Shin.]
[Seeing this, Sarada cried out anxiously, "Seventh Hokage, you..."]
["Don't worry, Sarada. I'm fine!" After forcing out that reply, Naruto turned toward Uchiha Shin and said, "This guy can use his ocular power to manipulate other people's weapons however he wants."]
[Sasuke also recalled how, when he had crossed paths with Uchiha Shin in midair earlier, the man had deliberately grabbed his sword.]
[Realization dawned on him. He marked my sword back then.]
[Just then, Naruto could no longer maintain his Nine-Tails Chakra, and the fox-head barrier protecting the three of them vanished.]
[At the sight, Uchiha Shin revealed a savage grin.]
[Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!]
[The next moment, the weapons that had been embedded in the chakra barrier spun rapidly and shot straight toward Sarada's back.]
[Sasuke sensed them immediately. His pupils contracted, and with a Body Flicker Technique, he appeared behind Sarada, shielding his daughter with his body and taking the weapons himself.]
[Shhk! Shhk! Shhk!]
[The blades pierced his flesh, and Sasuke couldn't suppress a pained groan. "Ugh..."]
[Sarada's eyes widened, and she whipped her head around. "Dad..."]
Beneath the Sky Screen, everyone felt as though they had fallen under a genjutsu. Everything before their eyes was beyond imagination, like something out of a dream.
