Background / History

Sasuke was the second son of Uchiha Fugaku and Uchiha Mikoto, younger brother of Itachi Uchiha, last descendant of the Uchiha Clan, and the reincarnation of Indra—the Sage of Six Paths’ eldest son. At seven, he watched Itachi slaughter their entire clan and awakened his Sharingan under the resulting trauma. Killing Itachi became the sole purpose that kept him moving forward. 123

After graduating from the Ninja Academy, Sasuke joined Team 7 under Kakashi Hatake alongside Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno. Believing that ordinary training could not give him the strength needed for revenge, he defected from the Hidden Leaf Village and sought power from Orochimaru. 123
