Return, Guiding Vegeta

After Gogito returned to his own timeline, he used Instant Transmission to appear beside Tights and pulled her into a hug. Tights was startled, but upon seeing it was Gogito, her anger flared up; they had agreed he would be back in a flash, yet he had been gone for half a year. She reached out and gave his waist a fierce pinch.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch!"

Gogito hurriedly begged for mercy. Why did all women know this move?

"Hmph, now you know how tough I am!"

Seeing Gogito pleading, Tights looked smug.

"Of course, my wife is the toughest of them all."

Gogito immediately began massaging her shoulders and pounding her legs; if Tights wasn't satisfied, he would be sleeping on the sofa tonight.

"You're a smart one."

Tights gave Gogito a look that said he knew how to play the game.

Gogito then held Tights close as he caught up on what had happened on Earth during his absence.

According to Tights, after Vegeta and Nappa arrived on Earth, they were intercepted by Piccolo and the others, leading to a fierce battle. Later, Goku arrived and fought Vegeta one-on-one. Both were left battered and bruised, and Vegeta used an artificial moon to transform into a Great Ape, only to be defeated by the combined efforts of the group. However, they didn't kill him and let him return home.

During the fight, however, Vegeta revealed information about the Dragon Balls, which Frieza overheard. Frieza headed straight for Earth. Warned by King Kai, Goku and the others prepared as best they could, but Frieza was simply too powerful, and the group was wiped out. In the end, Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan, defeated Frieza, and then headed to Planet Namek to seek help.

On Planet Namek, Goku encountered Frieza's father, King Cold, and the two engaged in a fierce battle. It ended with the destruction of Planet Namek and the death of King Cold, and just like in the original story, Goku went to Planet Yardrat to train.

The Namekians used the Dragon Balls to find a new, suitable place to live.

Hearing that Goku was not on Earth, Gogito breathed a sigh of relief.

After that, Gohan continued to train under Master Roshi, while Piccolo and Tien Shinhan returned to their own places to train. Yamcha and Bulma broke up, and with Yamcha out living a wild life, Vegeta successfully moved in.

Gogito and Tights spent the whole day being inseparable; they sat in the same chair to eat and almost showered together, though Gogito stopped himself just in time—it wouldn't be good if things got heated and someone ended up getting hurt.

Early the next morning, Gogito got up early and went to the dining room for breakfast. As soon as he walked in, he saw Vegeta eating.

"Yo! Vegeta, up so early?"

Hearing someone call his name, Vegeta looked up, his pupils constricting. This guy? He's a Saiyan.

Vegeta noticed the tail behind Gogito at a glance. How was this possible? Were there pure-blooded Saiyans other than himself and Kakarot?

"Who are you?"

Vegeta's expression turned hostile as he stared intently at Gogito, as if he might strike at any moment.

"Don't be so tense, Vegeta."

Gogito walked to the table, sat down, and ordered the chef to prepare him some breakfast.

Vegeta's gaze never left Gogito for a second. He couldn't gauge the depth of the man before him. Even with Kakarot, who could transform into a Super Saiyan, he could sense his immense power, but this man gave him a feeling of emptiness—if he closed his eyes, he couldn't feel the man's presence at all, yet when he opened them, he was undeniably right there.

"My name is Gogito, and I am..."

Gogito gave a brief introduction, explaining his origins.

"I see. Just like Kakarot."

After listening to Gogito's introduction, Vegeta summarized it simply and clearly.

"Uh?"

Hearing Vegeta say that, Gogito felt his fists clench. Although it was a fact that both he and Goku had been exiled to remote planets due to poor aptitude, hearing it put that way still annoyed him. Gogito decided he would give Vegeta a good beating; damn it, if he didn't know how to talk, he should keep his mouth shut.

After finishing his breakfast quickly, Gogito said to Vegeta:

"Do you want to know how to transform into a Super Saiyan?"

Vegeta had dreamed of becoming a Super Saiyan, and upon hearing this, he answered without hesitation.

"Of course I do. What, you know how?"

"Of course. It's just a Super Saiyan transformation."

Gogito curled his lips into a smile and transformed on the spot. A golden aura enveloped his entire body; from a distance, he looked like a giant lightbulb.

"Damn it!!"

Seeing that Gogito had truly transformed into a Super Saiyan, Vegeta clenched his fists in fury.

"How do I become a Super Saiyan?"

"Is that the attitude you use when asking for a favor?"

Gogito crossed his arms and looked at Vegeta. Vegeta gripped his fists, feeling incredibly humiliated. As the proud Prince of all Saiyans, when had he ever had to beg anyone for anything?

The two stood in a stalemate for a while, but eventually, Vegeta lowered his head.

"Please teach me how to become a Super Saiyan."

"Hmm, that's more like it. If you're asking for a favor, you need the right attitude."

Gogito nodded with satisfaction and then flew out the window.

"Follow me."

Gogito led Vegeta to a desolate area. Transforming into a Super Saiyan for the first time meant he couldn't control such immense power, which would cause destruction to the surrounding environment; Gogito didn't want his home destroyed.

"To transform into a Super Saiyan, you need a calm heart and a steady spirit, then use your rage to trigger a rapid increase of S-cells within your body. That is how you successfully transform into a Super Saiyan."

"You've lived on Earth for several months now; you should have met the requirements. You can attempt to transform."

Gogito had said so much, but Vegeta only really took in the word "rage." He couldn't understand the rest—S-cells, a calm heart, a steady spirit—all of that could just go to hell.

"Haaa!!!"

Vegeta roared at the sky, unleashing all of his power. Yet, there wasn't the slightest change to his body.

Seeing Vegeta like this, Gogito knew he hadn't grasped it, so he provoked him: "Vegeta, if you can't transform into a Super Saiyan, you'll be stepped on by Kakarot for the rest of your life. Maybe even Gohan will be able to transform in the future, while the gap between you and them grows so wide that you won't even be able to see their backs anymore."

Hearing this, a surge of rage welled up within Vegeta. How could he be stepped on by Kakarot? He was furious at himself for not being able to become a Super Saiyan. Vegeta asked himself over and over again in his heart until, finally, his rage reached its peak. A golden light began to emanate from his body.

"HAAAA!!!!"

Vegeta let out a thunderous roar and finally transformed into a Super Saiyan.

Vegeta felt incredibly exhilarated. He had finally managed to transform into a Super Saiyan, and he felt invincible. Power surged endlessly within his body; he felt he could defeat Kakarot, and even the Gogito standing before him.

A classic smirk appeared on Vegeta's face. As everyone knows, every time Vegeta wears a confident smile, he ends up getting a brutal beating, and this time was no exception.
