"Gogito, come quickly! That planet over there is so strange—it has a super huge tree growing on it!!!"
Tights shouted from the window.
Hearing this, Gogito walked over to the window as well. He looked at the incomparably massive tree on the distant planet and rubbed his chin.
"Feels a bit familiar."
Ding, system mission issued. Mission: Defeat Turles and save the surviving inhabitants. Reward: Tree of Might seed, 10 Senzu Bean. Failure: Seal host's full power for one day.
The system, which had been silent for a long time, finally came online to issue its first mission.
Oh ho, a mission. The reward is a Tree of Might seed and 10 Senzu Bean—not bad.
It seems that super huge tree is the Tree of Might. A planet where the Tree of Might is planted will have its life energy drained dry, leaving it without signs of life for hundreds of years, or even leading to the planet's destruction.
"Let's go down and take a look, Tights," Gogito said to Tights.
"Won't it be dangerous? That tree doesn't look like anything good." Tights didn't agree immediately; having traveled the universe for a long time, she had at least that much discernment.
"That thing poses no threat to me, but the person who planted it might be from our Saiyan race. We can't just let someone like that go around causing destruction," Gogito explained.
"Alright then. It's perfect, I can record some material—maybe it'll make my novel a hit." At this, Tights looked eager to try.
And so, Tights piloted the spaceship down toward the planet.
After landing on the surface, Tights turned the spaceship into a capsule, then pulled out another one, which transformed into a plane.
Along the way, seeing the cracked earth and yellow sand all around, it seemed the fruit of the Tree of Might was nearing maturity; the planet was about to be drained dry.
From afar, the Tree of Might was already visible. Nearby, there were sounds of explosions and smoke everywhere; it seemed the planet's natives were fighting Turles's gang, though the situation was looking grim for the natives.
"Damn it, why can't we destroy that tree!!!" In a massive room, a group of people was staring at a large screen, and the person standing at the very front spoke.
"Is our planet really going to be destroyed?"
"No, send out more troops! We must eliminate that tree and that group of people!"
"That group is too powerful. Our weapons are useless against them; we can't hit them at all!"
The group argued back and forth, but because they couldn't reach a consensus, the scene was chaotic.
Over here, Gogito and Tights had already arrived near the Tree of Might. Turles had also spotted the two of them; he was somewhat curious that someone was still fearless enough to come over.
Suddenly, his pupils constricted as he saw Gogito stepping down from the plane. That freely swaying tail was instantly noticed by Turles.
"A Saiyan? Didn't all the Saiyans die when Planet Vegeta exploded? Why would a Saiyan appear here?"
Countless thoughts flashed through Turles's mind.
Gogito looked at Turles and sighed.
"He looks so much like Kakarot. Same crab-like hair, but the temperament is different. Kakarot has a hint of foolishness in his clear eyes, while Turles is evil and cold. If Kakarot hadn't bumped his head, he might have turned out like this too."
Just as Gogito was lost in thought, Turles had already reached him. Tights looked at the two Saiyans before her and felt they were completely different. Gogito just stood there quietly, yet one could feel that confident, wild, and powerful aura—perhaps that was what attracted her.
Turles, on the other hand, didn't look like a good person at all. His gaze was fierce, and he had an "I'm the best in the world" attitude—he was truly asking for a beating.
"Hey, you're a Saiyan too, right? Want to have a big fight with me?" Turles pointed at the Tree of Might behind him.
"That thing can make your power grow rapidly. As long as you work with me, I can share some with you."
At this, his underlings were displeased and spoke up.
"Hey, hey, hey, Boss! The fruit this thing produces is already scarce, and now you want to share it with him? We don't agree!"
The other accomplices chimed in.
"Yeah, Boss, let us take him out!"
With that, they rushed forward and threw a punch, but Gogito dodged it easily. The underling refused to accept it and continued his assault, but Gogito countered with a punch to the underling's stomach, sending him straight to the ground to wail in agony.
"I said, don't bother sending your underlings to test me. With small fries like you, I can handle it with one hand," Gogito said confidently.
"You guy, you've got a big mouth. You lot, all together now!" Turles commanded the remaining few to attack at once.
The underlings rushed over immediately. Gogito shook his head, raised his hand, and fired a few energy blasts, sending them straight to their graves. Neither Turles nor his subordinates were good people, so Gogito didn't hold back.
Seeing his underlings instantly wiped out, Turles was no fool; he could see that Gogito was not to be trifled with.
"As long as you join forces with me, and with the Tree of Might, ruling the universe is just around the corner."
Turles still wouldn't give up and continued to speak.
Gogito didn't want to listen at all. With a teleport, he appeared in front of Turles and punched him in the stomach, sending Turles crashing into the Tree of Might.
"Since you like the Tree of Might so much, then disappear along with it!"
After saying this, Gogito condensed an energy blast and fired it directly at Turles.
A massive explosion rang out. The Tree of Might was obliterated by Gogito's energy blast, and Turles went to meet King Yama along with his underlings.
Gogito stepped in front of Tights, shielding her from the shockwave and flying debris caused by the explosion.
Once the Tree of Might was destroyed, it dissolved into specks of energy that returned to the planet. New vegetation began to sprout across the land, water reappeared in the lakes and rivers, and countless animals reclaimed their homes, howling toward the sky in excitement to celebrate their regained happiness.
Just then, a large fleet of aircraft flew in from the distance and landed rapidly. A group of people emerged and jogged over to Gogito, the leader bowing respectfully as he spoke.
"Arigato."
The people behind him followed suit, bowing in unison.
"Arigato~"
Gogito said indifferently, "It was just a small effort, no need for formalities."
"To you, it may have been a trivial matter, but to us, it is a debt of immense gratitude. Please, allow us to invite you and your companion to the royal palace for a meal."
If there was one thing that could get Gogito excited, it was food. In his past life, he had been a total foodie, planning to taste every delicacy in China before he was transmigrated. Now that he was in the Dragon Ball world, he intended to eat his way through the entire universe.
The group arrived at the royal palace, passing through without obstruction until they reached a grand hall. Inside, a massive table was laden with all sorts of food, making Gogito's mouth water. He couldn't wait any longer and dove straight in.
Tights covered her face in embarrassment as she watched his table manners; it was absolutely mortifying.
The others were equally stunned, standing frozen until they hurriedly signaled the kitchen to prepare more food.
