After spending a few days enjoying themselves on that planet, Gogito and Tights set off on a new journey.
Gogito returned to the dull life aboard the spaceship.
One day, Tights received a message from her younger sister, Bulma. It said that an alien had come to Earth some time ago. Although he had been defeated, he left a message before dying, saying that his accomplices would reach Earth in a year and bring disaster upon it. Bulma had sent the message to ask whether her sister knew any powerful people who could help.
The message also described the alien's appearance in detail.
After receiving it, Tights went straight to Gogito to ask him about it. The alien's features matched Gogito's, so Tights thought he might be a Saiyan.
"Hmm. A human with a tail, black hair, and an arrogant, domineering personality. He was most likely a Saiyan."
Gogito replied after hearing Tights's description.
So the story had reached the point where Raditz arrived on Earth. From then on, power levels began to rise rapidly. By the time they reached Namek, Goku's power level had shot from 90,000 to 150 million. All in a single day—truly terrifying. You could only say that fate favored the protagonist. If the tyrant had done a few push-ups while fighting, Kakarot would have been dead ages ago.
The tyrant had reached a level of power that took Goku thirty-nine years to attain in just four months. His talent could be summed up in four words: terrifying beyond belief.
"You don't need to worry. Those two aren't as strong as Turles, the one we encountered before."
Only then did Tights let go of her worries.
Turles had a power level of at least 20,000 or 30,000. Vegeta had only 18,000 when he came to Earth, and Nappa's was under 10,000.
"If you're still worried, we can go back to Earth when the time comes."
Hearing that from Gogito put Tights at ease. She had seen Gogito's flying abilities for herself; he could handle the crisis on Earth without any trouble.
"But don't warn them yet. The threat to their lives will make it easier for them to unlock their potential."
Half a month later, Gogito and Tights arrived on a yellow planet: Planet Yardrat. That's right, Planet Yardrat. Gogito wanted to learn Spirit Control from the elders there.
During the Moro arc, Vegeta had trained there for a while and gained enough strength to pummel Moro. He still lost later, but that didn't change how powerful the Yardratians were.
The spaceship landed beside a city. A group of Yardratians appeared in the city—some green, some pink, some blue. They held weapons and watched Gogito and Tights warily.
One of them asked,
"A Saiyan? Are you here to attack us?"
Honestly, the Saiyans had a terrible reputation throughout the universe. Wherever they went, people treated them like enemies.
"No, no, I'm not here to invade. Besides, Frieza wiped out the Saiyans. How could we invade anyone's planet?" Gogito explained.
"I'm here to learn."
When the Yardratians heard that he had come to learn, they all lowered their weapons.
Yardratians were well known on the surrounding planets for their hospitality. Sometimes people came from far away to learn from them, so this was nothing new.
One of the little green Yardratians said,
"Then come with me to meet the elder."
The little green Yardrat led them to a house. He knocked on the door and said,
"Elder Pybara, someone's here to learn."
"Come in," a voice replied from inside.
Inside, a huge blue Yardrat sat on the floor.
"These are the guests who came to learn," the little green Yardrat introduced them.
"This is Mr. Gogito, and this is Ms. Tights."
"This is our elder, Pybara. All visitors learn from Elder Pybara." With that, he turned and left.
"Young man, I can sense the great power within you, but your control over it is still quite crude."
Elder Pybara immediately spotted the flaw in Gogito's control.
"That's exactly why I came to learn from you," Gogito said.
And so Gogito stayed on Planet Yardrat.
Half a year passed in the blink of an eye.
"Gogito, I never expected you to have such talent. In just half a year, you've mastered Spirit Control to this extent. Even I can't compare."
That was right. In only half a year, Gogito had trained in Spirit Control until he surpassed Elder Pybara. He had also learned all the other techniques. The talent Vegito's system had granted him was simply incredible.
For those six months, Gogito had devoted himself to learning, while Tights asked Elder Pybara about the various legends of the universe and its powerful warriors.
Seeing how eager Tights was to learn, Elder Pybara told her everything he knew.
Using Gogito as her inspiration, Tights wrote a novel called Legend of the Universe. It told the story of a girl who met a powerful man on a planet during her travels through the universe. The two went on adventures together, grew stronger and stronger, and eventually became legends of the universe.
Now Gogito and Tights were preparing to leave. Gogito had learned just about all he could; the rest he would have to understand through battle.
"Goodbye, Elder Pybara. If you ever need anything, you can always call on me."
Watching the spaceship depart, Elder Pybara sighed. "Gogito's potential is unfathomable. The universe will surely remember his legend."
Meanwhile, on Snake Way, Goku had just arrived at King Kai's Planet, a tiny world. It had taken Goku nearly half a year to get there, leaving him only six months to train.
King Kai had said that Vegeta and Nappa would reach Earth in 158 days. In that time, Goku had to get used to ten times gravity and learn the Kaioken and the Spirit Bomb.
As for the warriors on Earth, they were training under Kami and Mr. Popo at Kami's Lookout.
Gohan and Piccolo were training in the wilderness. You had to hand it to Piccolo: he was the Son family's babysitter. He was taking care of Gohan now, and later, in the movies, he would even take Pan to school. He'd learned to use a phone for her, and he didn't even get paid. A total sucker.
There were less than six months left until the Saiyans reached Earth.
After a long journey, Gogito and Tights finally arrived on Earth.
"Woohoo, we're finally here!"
Looking at Earth through the window, Gogito spoke excitedly. He was nearly driven mad by the boring journey. Now that they were back on Earth, he would have Bulma build him a new spaceship. Tights's ship had been designed with only herself in mind. It wasn't very large, and the interior had been laid out for her writing, leaving Gogito no room to move around.

Bulma was currently modifying the Scouter Raditz had left behind. When she took it apart, she discovered that it even contained a bug. The discovery gave her a cold sweat.
She hurriedly contacted Krillin and the others, but they were all training at Kami's Lookout and couldn't be reached.
