After defeating Baby, Kibito Kai used Ultra Divine Water to purify everyone on Earth and Planet Tuffle who was still affected. Everyone regained their senses.
Bulma also learned the two men's origins from Tights, while Gogito reintroduced himself to everyone.
The group returned to the Lookout with Son Goku's Instant Transmission, and they all chatted and laughed together.
"Gogito, I can tell—you're really strong!"
Goku, back in a child's body, spoke to Gogito.
Pan had a question, too.
"Just before Grandpa took Baby's Revenge Death Ball, Uncle Gogito said Grandpa was going to win. How did you know?"
Gohan, Goten, and Trunks wanted to know the answer as well.
"Well, I can transform into a Super Saiyan 4 myself, so I know what Super Saiyan 4 can do."
"Super Saiyan 4 can absorb energy to make itself stronger. Unless the gap in power is so great that the body can't take it, it can handle just about anything. Super Saiyan 4's body is especially tough, so Baby had already lost the moment he used the Revenge Death Ball."
"Other than energy attacks like ki blasts, which use up a lot of energy, Super Saiyan 4 has no other weaknesses."
Gogito's explanation left everyone stunned.
Even after Baby had beaten Super Saiyan 4 Goku so badly, Goku hadn't reverted to his normal form. That meant maintaining Super Saiyan 4 took very little energy—or perhaps none at all. Its body could also withstand high-voltage currents and temperatures of 6,000 degrees without being harmed.
"That's incredible!"
Everyone was astonished by Gogito's description of Super Saiyan 4.
Goku hadn't realized Super Saiyan 4 was that powerful, but he was thrilled. Now he had another strong opponent to challenge in Gogito. Heh heh!
Just then, the whole Earth began to shake. Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions erupted around the world.
"The Black Star Dragon Balls are gone!"
Mr. Popo came out of the Lookout, looking terrified.
"What?"
Goku, Trunks, and Pan were shocked. They had collected the Black Star Dragon Balls from across the universe and handed them to Mr. Popo themselves. How could they be gone?
Dende suddenly fell to his knees and spoke in self-reproach.
"When Baby controlled us, we gave him the Black Star Dragon Balls. He used them to create Planet Tuffle!"
Pan counted the days on her fingers and realized they had only two weeks left.
"What do we do? We only have two weeks left. There's no way we can collect the Dragon Balls again in time!"
Pan was scared and frantic, with no idea what to do.
"No big deal. Why not just borrow the Dragon Balls on Namek? Porunga's definitely stronger than those Black Star Dragon Balls! We can also use a wish to turn Goku back into an adult and regrow Vegeta's tail so he can transform."
Seeing how worried everyone was, Gogito calmly offered his suggestion.
"That's right! Porunga is incredibly powerful. He can definitely erase the Black Star Dragon Balls' power!"
Dende said excitedly. No one knew the Namekian Dragon Balls better than he did.
"Let's not waste any time. We're leaving now."
Goku took Dende straight to Namek to borrow the Dragon Balls.
Just as Gogito had said, Porunga easily erased the Black Star Dragon Balls' power, saving Earth. The two remaining wishes were to restore Goku to adulthood and regrow Vegeta's tail.
Vegeta couldn't wait to try transforming into Super Saiyan 4. He felt he could catch up to Kakarot again—maybe even surpass him.
Goku tried to stop Vegeta from transforming on the Lookout, but Vegeta snapped back at him.
"Kakarot, do you think I'll lose my mind when I turn into a Great Ape, like you do? I'm the prince of the Saiyans!"
Goku remembered that Vegeta had transformed into a Great Ape the first time he came to Earth. Vegeta hadn't lost his mind then, and he'd beaten Goku until he was howling. It had probably been the worst beating Goku had ever taken.
Then Vegeta transformed right there on the Lookout. Just as he'd said, he didn't lose his mind and successfully became a Super Saiyan 4.
Peace returned to Earth once more.
The World Martial Arts Tournament was held again. Mr. Satan had always had Buu watching over him, and he'd always been the champion. But now that Buu was dead, Mr. Satan decided to retire.
Mr. Satan planned to pass his position on to Pan. But when Pan heard the champion was supposed to inherit Mr. Satan's position, she imagined herself wearing his outfit. Yikes! No way—that was way too ugly. Pan promptly withdrew from the tournament.
As luck would have it, Uub also disguised himself and entered the tournament under the name Pineapple Man, hoping to win some prize money to help with household expenses. He made it all the way to the final, where he faced Mr. Satan. But under Buu's influence, Mr. Satan knocked him out of the ring.
Gogito was also there watching the tournament. Why? Because the system had issued another mission: help Mr. Satan reunite with Buu.
The reward was Buu's magic.
That was why Gogito had come to the World Martial Arts Tournament—to watch the matches and wait for Uub to appear.
After the tournament ended, Gogito found Mr. Satan and Uub and told them what he had in mind. He wanted to separate Uub and Buu again.
But he still had to ask what the two of them thought. If they didn't agree, he'd let it go. He didn't need the mission reward; it wasn't that useful anyway.
Gogito simply wanted to help Mr. Satan and Buu. Their bond was so deep that even he envied it.
Uub agreed. How could Mr. Satan possibly refuse?
Gogito used Forced Spirit Fission to separate Buu from Uub.
Uub was the reincarnation of Evil Buu, but reincarnation meant he was no longer Buu. He had only inherited Evil Buu's potential. Uub couldn't do anything else Buu could, and his body couldn't be smashed apart and put back together like Buu's. That proved Uub was already a complete individual. Fusing with Buu had only made him stronger.
Back then, Uub had fused with Buu out of desperation, with no other choice. Now that they could be separated, he was happy, too.
Mr. Satan held Buu in his arms, tears streaming down his face. Their dog bounced around happily beside them, looking just as delighted.
"Thank you so much, Gogito."
Mr. Satan gripped Gogito's hand tightly and kept thanking him until Gogito felt embarrassed.
Gogito quickly used Instant Transmission to get away and went to the Sacred World of the Kai. He had some things he wanted to ask Old Kai.
Gogito wanted to find out whether this world had a God of Destruction. But this timeline wasn't under the Omni-Universe's jurisdiction, so there probably wasn't one, right? It was beyond the Omni-Universe's reach, after all.
