Arrival on Earth

Tights was thrilled to see Earth so close. She hadn't been home in ages. She had spent all these years traveling through space, and she missed her family dearly.

The spaceship soon reached Earth and entered the atmosphere. After passing through it, they headed straight for West City.

"We're here. That's my house," Tights said, pointing at the huge, round building before them.

"It hasn't changed at all," Tights said with a sigh.

The spaceship then landed on the lawn in the courtyard. Dr. Briefs and Mrs. Briefs came out to see what was going on.

"Oh-ho-ho! Tights is back!" Mrs. Briefs said happily, linking arms with Dr. Briefs.

"It's good that she's back. It's good that she's back," Dr. Briefs said, looking pleased.

What parent didn't worry about their children? Tights had been gone for so many years. Though she had occasionally kept in touch with her family, they couldn't help worrying until they could see for themselves that their daughter was safe. Now that Tights was home, of course they were happy.

As soon as Tights stepped off the spaceship, she saw her parents smiling at her. Her nose stung, and tears welled in her eyes. She rushed over and hugged them both.

"Mom, Dad, I'm home."

"It's good that you're back. It's good that you're back."

Seeing the heartwarming scene, Gogito didn't hurry off the spaceship. He decided to give them some time.

Mrs. Briefs fussed over her daughter, asking how she'd been, while Dr. Briefs quietly watched the two of them.

After a while, Gogito stepped off the spaceship too. When Mrs. Briefs saw him, she exclaimed in surprise,

"Oh-ho! Tights brought a handsome young man with her!"

"Is he your boyfriend, Tights?"

"That's right. I'm Tights's boyfriend. My name is Gogito."

Gogito and Tights had made their relationship official while studying on Planet Yardrat.

Just then, Bulma noticed the commotion outside and went to see what was happening. When she reached the living room and saw Gogito and Tights, she was stunned.

"Your sister's back? And she brought a super-handsome guy as her boyfriend!"

Bulma pointed at Gogito.

"Where did you find him, Sis? I want to go find one too." Bulma already had Yamcha as her boyfriend, but that didn't stop her from admiring handsome men.

Tights was used to Bulma acting like this. She knew her sister well: Bulma loved handsome men and couldn't take her eyes off one whenever she saw him.

"I met Gogito while I was traveling. I stopped at a place to replenish my supplies, and happened to run into him after his spaceship broke down. His ship was beyond repair, so we started traveling together."

Tights briefly explained how she had met Gogito.

"That really is a special kind of fate. The two of you must have been brought together by destiny."

Mrs. Briefs said cheerfully. She was delighted that her daughter had found lasting happiness, and she trusted her daughter's judgment.

After they chatted for a while, Mrs. Briefs got up to leave. During their conversation, she had learned that Gogito had a huge appetite, so she planned to tell the kitchen to make extra food, just in case there wasn't enough.

Tights and Bulma also got up and followed their mother. It seemed the three of them had some private things to discuss. Tights didn't forget to turn back and say,

"Gogito, feel free to look around. Just make sure you're back in time for dinner."

Dr. Briefs stayed behind to talk with Gogito a little longer. Gogito took the opportunity to ask,

"Doctor, my spaceship is damaged. Could you help me design a new one?"

"The technology I have now isn't enough to build a spaceship that can travel through space," Dr. Briefs replied.

"Tights brought my spaceship back with her. If you had that ship, could you do it?"

Gogito had come prepared. In the story, Dr. Briefs had used the technology in the spaceship Goku brought to Earth to build another one—the ship Goku later took to Namek.

"If I had something to study and use as a reference, I'd need to examine it first. I'll give you an answer once I have," Dr. Briefs said.

Dr. Briefs was very curious about technology from space, but he couldn't guarantee he would succeed.

From Dr. Briefs's answer, Gogito knew the chances were good.

Dr. Briefs left right away, apparently to ask Tights for the spaceship. It seemed that alien technology had a strong appeal to people like him.

Gogito couldn't sit still either. He decided to visit Kami's Lookout and meet Earth's warriors. There was something he had always wondered about: people online had said that Mr. Popo was secretly powerful, and that he had taught Goku Ultra Instinct. During the Majin Buu saga, Mr. Popo hadn't used any major techniques, yet he had managed to take a punch from Trunks after he had turned Super Saiyan. That meant Mr. Popo had been hiding his strength.

Gogito pressed two fingers together and placed them against his forehead. In an instant, he disappeared. In the distance, Dr. Briefs's black cat widened its eyes and ran over to where Gogito had vanished, but it found nothing.

At Kami's Lookout

Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha were training, while Kami and Mr. Popo watched from the side.

Suddenly, Gogito appeared on the Lookout. Everyone saw him, and the tail behind him in particular made them tense up.

"A Saiyan?!"

"Weren't they supposed to arrive on Earth in a year? Why are they here after only six months?"

Krillin shouted in alarm.

"No, look closely. This Saiyan is different. We can't sense his ki at all. If he hadn't appeared right in front of us, we wouldn't have noticed him. That means he knows how to suppress his ki."

"According to what we know, the two Saiyans can't suppress their ki. They rely heavily on the Scouters they wear over their eyes, but this Saiyan isn't wearing one."

"Besides, Raditz said two Saiyans would arrive on Earth in a year. So this must not be the person Raditz was talking about."

They calmly analyzed the situation and finally reached a conclusion.

"That's right. I'm not with Raditz and the others."

"I came to Earth with Tights, Bulma's older sister. Half a year ago, Bulma sent Tights a message about what was happening on Earth, so I came along with her."

Gogito briefly explained who he was.

"I've heard Bulma mention her older sister, but I never heard that her sister had a boyfriend."

Yamcha spoke up, sounding a little doubtful.

"If you don't believe me, you can call Bulma and ask her."

With Earth's safety at stake, they had to be cautious.

Yamcha left to find a phone and call Bulma.

While Yamcha was making the call, Gogito carefully observed the mysterious Mr. Popo everyone online talked about.
