In West City, Earth, people were going about their daily routines as usual!!
"Hey!! Quick, look at that!" Someone suddenly pointed at the sky and shouted, drawing countless eyes upward!!
A spherical object about the size of a basketball streaked through the sky, leaving a long trail behind it.
"Is that a meteor??" someone guessed.
"Doesn't look like it. Could it be some government satellite coming back down or something!?"
At that moment, the 'god' atop Korin Tower grew solemn. He sensed an unusually powerful ki! Though it didn't seem particularly evil.
"Lord Kami!" A panda-like figure appeared behind Kami. He wore white pants and a maroon vest, and was none other than Earth's god's servant, Mr. Popo.
Mr. Popo's fighting power had always been a mystery. If he was strong, he'd never actually defeated any formidable enemy! If he was weak, then even Super Saiyan Trunks and Son Goten couldn't inflict any real damage on him.
"Popo, go bring Korin up here. A powerful ki has arrived on Earth, and I don't know whether it's friend or foe." Kami gripped his strange staff, his face scrunched up with worry.
"Of course, Lord Kami!!" Mr. Popo summoned his flying carpet and flew down along Korin Tower.
Far away, on the island where Kame House stood, Master Roshi was also staring in shock toward Karochi's ship.
"Oh ho~! What incredibly powerful ki." He'd been reading some 18+ magazines, but the sudden, powerful presence had startled him. The lecherous look vanished, leaving only a grave, serious expression.
Karochi had no idea that Kami and Master Roshi's group had already noticed him. Even if he had, he wouldn't have cared. After all, his main reason for coming to Earth was to find Kami and train!
He'd only grasped the basics of ki. To truly master it, he still needed to find a good teacher.

Karochi's spacecraft crashed into a desert. Stepping out of the cabin, he looked exasperated! What kind of place had he landed in?? There wasn't a town in sight!
"In this godforsaken place, how am I supposed to find Dr. Brief!!" Karochi gave a bitter smile. He had three goals on Earth.
① Hand his spaceship over to Dr. Brief, Bulma's father, to have it modified with a gravity chamber capable of producing over a hundred times normal gravity, like the one in Goku's spaceship in the original story, so he could train! The enemies he'd face in the future would be absurdly strong. Without training, he'd be forced to hole up on some godforsaken planet.
② Find Earth's god and train in ki. There was no need to explain how much better Earthlings were at studying ki! They were leagues ahead of the Saiyans.
③ Naturally, Earth's food! With the space capsules from Capsule Corp, he'd buy Earth's food like crazy!! What about money? He could borrow just a tiny bit from Dr. Brief. That shouldn't be a problem, right?
He lifted the spacecraft and flew toward the area where the numbers on his counter were clustered. Well, most of them were numbers like 2··1··3.
"L-look!! What's that kid carrying?? A-and he's got a weird tail growing out of his butt."
"N-no!! The important thing is, why is he flying???"
"Yeah!! How can he fly??"
It took Karochi a little over half an hour to find a small city. It definitely wasn't West City!! West City was a massive metropolis. Even so, the sight of a child carrying a spacecraft as he flew left the passersby stunned.
Karochi slowly descended in front of a fashionably dressed man. Holding the spacecraft aloft with one hand, he asked, "Tell me, how do I get to Capsule Corp in West City?" The shadow falling over the man made him collapse right onto the ground!!
He could tell that if the spherical object the child was holding hit him, he'd be done for. At Karochi's question, he could only point northwest with a trembling hand. "G-go that way! Travel 3,000 kilometers and you'll... you'll reach West City!"
Karochi furrowed his brow. Over 3,000 kilometers. That was still pretty far! He wondered if he should grab something to eat before setting off.
After thinking for a moment, Karochi shook his head. He took off and flew northwest at full speed!! White ki engulfed his body, and in mere seconds he vanished from sight.
He was sure he'd attracted Kami's attention. It wouldn't be worth it to make Kami think poorly of him just because he'd stopped to satisfy a craving! Besides, at his current speed, 3,000 kilometers wasn't that far. He'd make it in about two hours at full speed.
He was bringing Dr. Brief a whole spaceship. How could he not score himself a hearty meal? Hilarious. No need to worry at all.
The Lookout!!
Mr. Popo had already brought Korin up!!
"Korin, you sensed it too, didn't you?" Kami gazed below and asked.
Korin stepped up beside him, his expression just as shocked. Even a little cold sweat appeared on his feline face. "Yes, Lord Kami!! I never thought such a powerful being would come to Earth. I wonder whether it's a blessing or a disaster~ Meow!!"
"His ki is incredibly powerful. I'm no match for him, and from what I saw, he's only a little kid!!!" That was what frightened Kami most.
The newcomer wasn't even an adult, just a child. Though he looked very similar to an Earthling, his brown tail proved he definitely wasn't one. That raised the question: if a little kid from an alien race had so much power, just how strong was the rest of his species??
Korin's face was full of alarm. His eyes, already narrowed to slits, narrowed even further. "Th-that can't be right!? A kid has that much power?~~ Meow"
Korin realized how serious the situation was too!! He went to the edge of the Lookout and used [Clairvoyance], a spell he used to observe the world below!! He soon located Karochi flying at high speed. Just as Kami had said, he was only a little kid.
Kami nodded bitterly, proving he hadn't been joking. "The good news is that the child didn't destroy anything or kill anyone after entering the city. And I couldn't sense much evil in his ki!! That's the best news we have right now."
The newcomer's ki was more than ten times stronger than his own! If he wanted to go on a rampage, Kami would truly be helpless.
"Then that really is good news~ Meow!!" Korin wiped the cold sweat from his head with his left paw.
"Huh!!? I feel like I'm being watched!" Karochi frowned as he flew at high speed. The moment Korin used [Clairvoyance], Karochi sensed someone watching him.
But after thinking it over, he relaxed. There were only a few people on Earth capable of doing something like that: Korin, Kami, and Fortuneteller Baba!!
Fortuneteller Baba spent most of her time in the Otherworld and rarely returned to Earth, so it was almost certainly Earth's Kami and Korin watching him.
After all, his sudden arrival had caused quite a stir, and he hadn't even concealed his ki. It was only natural that people had noticed!! He'd never intended to sneak around anyway.
Rubbing his completely empty stomach, Karochi sped up again!! Being hungry was truly miserable. Back when he watched the anime, he'd thought it was ridiculous how much Saiyans could eat. What kind of stomach could hold all that?
Now he finally understood! Eating an entire dinosaur in one meal wasn't an exaggeration. They really could eat one.
