"I understand, Master Roshi." Sun Wumian nodded earnestly.
"Fine. I'm going to train hard from now on. The gap is so huge—I can't accept it." Tien Shinhan clenched his fists, then left with Chiaotzu.
As a martial artist, Tien Shinhan had a strong martial spirit. It was just a shame that the Three-Eyed People couldn't compare to Saiyans who had a cheat-like advantage. Sun Wumian already knew how things would turn out.
"I'm going to train on my own, too. I'll definitely become stronger than you someday, Brother Wumian. Flying Nimbus!" Goku had made up his mind as well.

"The Lookout. But before that, Bulma, there's something I'd like to ask you."
Sun Wumian turned to Bulma.
"What is it? What could it be? Your training doesn't seem to have anything to do with me."
"This." With a magician's flourish, Sun Wumian produced a Spherical Spaceship. It was the one Goku had arrived on as a child. He'd deliberately found it when he returned to Mount Paozu earlier and stored it in the System Space.
"Huh? This round metal thing—is it a spaceship?" As expected of a genius young scientist, Bulma immediately saw what it was.
"That's right. This is the spaceship Goku came to Earth in as a child. I was hoping you could help modify it and install an artificial gravity device."
"I came here in it? No way." Goku was startled.
"Actually, Goku, you weren't born and raised on Earth. You're a Saiyan, and this is the spaceship the Saiyans sent you here in."
"Saiyan? Whatever. I don't mind what I am." Goku said unconcernedly. That was just like him; it was simply his nature.
"This spaceship is an incredible scientific achievement." Bulma opened the hatch and went inside for a quick look around, then exclaimed in admiration.
She stepped back out. "Dad and I can modify it for you. He'll probably want to learn about Saiyan science, too, though it'll take a little time."
"That's fine. Sorry for the trouble, Bulma. Goku and I have something to do, so we'll be off." As he spoke, Sun Wumian flew toward Korin Tower, with Goku following behind on the Flying Nimbus.
When they arrived at Korin Tower, the first person Sun Wumian saw wasn't Korin, but Yajirobe, the Tank Yasuo.
Damn, this guy's here to mooch Senzu Beans. That's weird—Goku never met him, so how did he end up here? Sun Wumian wondered.
"Korin, long time no see." Sun Wumian ignored Yajirobe and greeted the Cat Hermit. Then he went straight to the jar of Senzu Beans. Damn, they're all gone.
If I'd known, I should've come to take them sooner.
"Oh, you're here."
"You knew we were coming?" Sun Wukong had arrived by then and couldn't help asking.
"Hmph, of course! I know everything." The Cat Hermit held his wooden staff and narrowed his eyes, looking as if he knew it all.
"Really? Then do you know why we came this time?" Sun Wumian asked in return.
"Hmm..." Korin narrowed his eyes and fell silent for a moment, then used telepathy on Goku. "You want to train at the Lookout."
"That's amazing! You even knew that?" Goku exclaimed.
"By the way, why is this little fatty here?" Sun Wumian asked, pointing at Yajirobe.
"What do you mean, 'little fatty'? My name's Yajirobe. That's a rude way to address someone."
"Heh heh. Yajirobe heard that I had good food here, so he climbed up. I thought he was pretty interesting, so I let him stay," the Cat Hermit explained.
"By the way, Brother Wumian, didn't you say we were going to train at the Lookout? Why did we come here?" Sun Wukong suddenly remembered their purpose.
"The Lookout is above Korin Tower. Only people I approve of can go up to meet Kami. They have to be strong and pure of heart."
"Kami? There's no such thing. You're joking, right?" Yajirobe couldn't help snarking when he heard them talking.
"See? Someone like Yajirobe isn't qualified, but you meet all the requirements, Goku. As for you, Wumian, you could treat the Lookout like your own home." The Cat Hermit glanced at Yajirobe, then continued.
"It's up there? Can I ride the Flying Nimbus?" Goku asked.
"Of course not. The Flying Nimbus can only fly as high as this, and you can't get in by plane, either."
"Then how do we get up there?"
"It's simple. The Power Pole on your back connects to the Lookout. Master Roshi pestered me endlessly back then, so I finally lent it to him."
"The Power Pole? I thought it was a weapon. Grandpa Roshi must have given it to my grandpa later." Sun Wukong took the Power Pole off his back.
"Since that's settled, I'll go ahead and wait for you at the Lookout." Sun Wumian flew upward, soon reaching the Lookout once again.
"Mr. Popo, long time no see. And you too, Kami."
"Heh heh, there's no need to be so polite to me. You're someone who could defeat King Piccolo with a single move." Kami smiled and shook his head.
"All right. I came to ask if I could use the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to train. That shouldn't be a problem, right?" Sun Wumian got straight to the point.
There was no other choice. His cheat had expired, and he was out of Senzu Beans. If he wanted to become a Super Saiyan as soon as possible, the only option was the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
"That's no problem. Mr. Popo, take him there."
"No need to trouble him. I can go by myself. By the way, Goku will be coming up later. Could you train him for me, Mr. Popo, then let him into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to train with me after eight hours?"
The Hyperbolic Time Chamber was entirely white, except for one room. Beyond it, there was nothing but endless white.
One day on Earth was equal to a year in here. The air was only a quarter as dense as it was on the surface, while the gravity was four times as strong.
"All right, time to train. This place is just right. I hope I can transform into a Super Saiyan when I'm done." Sun Wumian spoke to himself.
In the blink of an eye, four months passed inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, and Goku came in, too.
"What's going on? This place is so strange, and my body feels so heavy. Can training here really make me stronger?" Goku had only just entered and was already struggling to stand.
That made sense. At his current battle power, four times Earth's gravity was a bit much.
