Goku's Wedding

After the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament ended, everyone gathered together, and Piccolo was allowed to leave.

"That's amazing, Goku! You won the championship. How did you train? You've gotten so much stronger than me." Krillin said excitedly, unable to hide his envy.

"Haha, I only won because Big Brother Wumian didn't enter the tournament. Compared to him, I'm nowhere near as strong," Goku said with a laugh.

Sun Wumian nodded. "Exactly. You're all improving too slowly. In ten days, anyone who wants to get stronger should meet me at Korin Tower. I'll help you train. And before long, powerful Saiyans will attack."

"Saiyans? Wumian, what are you talking about?" Yamcha asked in confusion. Thanks to the Senzu Bean Yajirobe had brought him, his injuries had healed.

"The Saiyans are a warrior race, like Goku, and they have tails. Of course, they're only powerful compared to you. I won't be fighting them, so if you don't want to be killed, you'd better train hard," Sun Wumian continued.

"Haha, come on, how could that happen? Who knows what the future holds? You're joking, right?" Yamcha laughed, waving a hand.

"It's simple. Goku is a Saiyan, so sooner or later, other Saiyans will find their way to Earth. My information is absolutely reliable." Sun Wumian ignored Yamcha's attitude. He was, after all, a refined and easygoing man.

"When you put it that way, it does make some sense. All right, I'll come train with you then!" Krillin was the most enthusiastic of them all.

The main reason Sun Wumian wanted to help them train was Krillin. The faster Krillin improved, the faster Goku would improve, too.

Normally, Goku got stronger whenever he faced a powerful opponent. But Sun Wumian was already so strong that Goku wasn't benefiting from that effect. For now, Krillin would have to serve as the stepping stone. Later, there would be Vegeta.

There was another reason, of course. Sun Wumian had trained with Krillin and Goku before, and he didn't want Krillin to become irrelevant when they faced even stronger enemies.

Ultimately, Sun Wumian wanted to use the Check-in System to become stronger. He could already transform into a Super Saiyan, but that wasn't nearly enough. Super Saiyans would soon be a dime a dozen.

He had considered visiting universes other than Universe 6 and Universe 7, but traveling between universes required a God of Destruction's Travel Cube. He didn't have one!

Perhaps Porunga could do it, but how would he get back?

"Wumian, can I train with you, too?" Goku came over and asked.

"Goku! What are you talking about? We agreed to get married. Come on, you're coming with me!" Chi-Chi grabbed Goku and dragged him away. Soon, the two of them flew off on the Flying Nimbus.

Watching them quickly disappear into the distance, Sun Wumian thought, All right. Since Goku's getting married, I'll find a way to give him the grandest wedding imaginable. Then I'll get them a new home, too.

Sun Wumian said goodbye to Krillin, Bulma, and Master Roshi, then set off alone to search for the undersea treasure. There was no other way—if he wanted to get all of this done in such a short time, he needed the treasure.

Luckily, he clearly remembered that Pirate Port was out at sea, not far northeast of Kame House. That made things easy.

"Huh? What's going on?" After finding the treasure, Sun Wumian exchanged it for several hundred million, then used Instant Transmission to reach Goku. But it seemed Ox-King's castle was on fire again.

"Dad got trapped inside because of the wedding dress! What should we do?" Chi-Chi cried anxiously.

Huh? So the original story events still happen? Sun Wumian wondered.

"I can't get close. Uncle Ox-King is trapped inside," Goku said helplessly, staring at the raging flames.

"This is easy. There's a big river right over there. I'll blast the water up, and you can rush in and bring him out, Goku."

"Okay! I'll do my best!"

Rumble, rumble... Sun Wumian blasted a huge amount of water onto the castle with his Kamehameha.

Goku seized the opportunity, rushed inside, and brought Ox-King out. The wedding dress was saved, too.

"My castle... destroyed again..." Ox-King said bitterly as he watched it turn to ruins.

"It's no big deal. Just leave this place and build a new home on Mount Paozu. Here's a hundred million. Take it. Consider it my wedding gift to Goku and Chi-Chi." Sun Wumian took a box out of the system and handed it to Ox-King.

"A... a hundred million?" Chi-Chi and Ox-King were so shocked they could barely speak. "That's far too much. We can't accept it."

"It's nothing. I'm Goku's big brother. I can't let him live in such shabby conditions."

"A hundred million? How much is that?" Goku, at least, had no idea what that number meant.

"This... this..."

"It's settled, then. Let me know the date in advance, and I'll invite everyone to come." Sun Wumian left the box behind and vanished with Instant Transmission.

"Sun Wumian? Why do you keep appearing out of nowhere?" At Korin Tower, Yajirobe jumped at Sun Wumian's sudden appearance.

"Hey, you. Do you think Korin Tower is your home? The World Martial Arts Tournament only ended a few days ago, and you're already back here."

"Hmph." Yajirobe turned away and said nothing.

"Wumian, what brings you to Korin Tower?" Korin asked, his eyes narrowed.

"Oh, nothing important. A few people should be coming here to train soon. I'll need you to test them first."

"I see. Anyone who can climb up here by their own strength and is a martial artist with a good heart will pass my test."

Sun Wumian's plan was simple. First, Krillin and the others would pass Korin's test and train at the Lookout. Then, at the final stage, Sun Wumian would bring out the Spherical Spaceship so they could train under gravity inside it.

Before long, the ten days were up.

Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu climbed Korin Tower together.

"Hmm... Sun Wumian, are you making fun of me? They're all incredibly strong—even stronger than me." Korin pulled Sun Wumian aside and asked in a low voice.

"Wumian, what are you two whispering about? Is this Korin? He seems about as strong as I am," Krillin said.

Obviously, he was about as strong. Krillin's power level was 190, and Korin's was 190 as well.

"Hmm... I can see that you're all quite capable. You're worthy of going to the Lookout to meet Kami," Korin said, skipping the rest of the process.
