Vegeta's Solo Showcase

"Vegeta, that was some impressive showing. I like it." Sun Wumian suddenly appeared among them.

That's right—he had Instant Transmissioned back to Earth and had just happened to catch Vegeta's heroic moment.

"Huh, Wumian, was that Instant Transmission again? Honestly, you're always appearing and disappearing out of nowhere," Krillin complained.

"Kakarot, you're too naive. You noticed the changes in your body, but you forced yourself to transform into a Super Saiyan, which made your heart disease come on faster."

Then Vegeta kicked Goku over to them. "One of you take him home and give him the medicine he got before."

"Goku!"

"Dad!"

"I'll take him home," Yamcha volunteered. "I'm ashamed to say I couldn't help."

"This is Heart Virus. It might be contagious, so you should take the medicine too," Piccolo warned him.

"Yamcha, please. Dad, you have to get better."

"Don't worry, Gohan. After he takes the medicine, Goku will be fully recovered in three days," Sun Wumian said with a smile. He'd let another spoiler slip by accident.

"Really?"

"Do your best!" Yamcha said, hoisting Goku onto his back before leaving.

"Android 19, don't chase them!" Android 19 was about to pursue them when Dr. Gero stopped him.

"There's a certain pleasure in saving the most interesting one for last. Let's deal with these underlings first. With Vegeta in the mix, this should be even more fun," Dr. Gero continued.

"Android 20, there's one more person over there. There's a 70 percent chance he's the one called Yamcha. The problem is, the one who just flew away was also Yamcha. Strange."

"Hey, Wumian, shouldn't you step in now? Goku lost, and Vegeta probably isn't a match for them either," Krillin said, looking at Sun Wumian.

"Heh, I know everything about you!" The shoe print on Android 19's face was still there, making his grin look especially ridiculous.

"We Saiyans are hard to predict. You seemed surprised when Kakarot became a Super Saiyan, which means your data is outdated. All I have to do is watch out for the hands you use to absorb energy."

"I wonder if Androids can feel fear too... Hah!" Vegeta clenched his fists, unleashing such a tremendous burst of energy that it was hard to breathe.

Vegeta transformed into a Super Saiyan! Battle power: 250 million!

"Heh! No matter how you change, you still can't beat us Androids—just like Son Goku."

Android 19 shot forward and landed a powerful punch squarely on Vegeta's face.

"Hmph! Just as I thought—you're nothing special!"

Vegeta wiped a trace of blood from the corner of his mouth with his thumb. "I forgot to mention that Super Saiyans have short tempers... You don't feel pain, do you? Lucky for you!"

Vegeta began to counterattack, moving with astonishing speed as he kicked his opponent away with tremendous force.

Android 19 could take a beating. He sprang up and tried to launch a counterattack, but Vegeta reacted even faster. He fell backward, braced himself on the ground with both hands, then kicked his opponent into the air.

He chased after him and landed another punch. "Hmph, is that blood or oil?"

Whoosh! Android 19 fired beams from his eyes, but they were useless. Vegeta dodged them with ease.

Finally, he struck Android 19 down with a Volleyball Fist, smashing him into the ground and leaving a huge crater.

"Pathetic!" Vegeta landed and spoke contemptuously.

"Heh heh heh! I've got you! I won't let go until I've drained all your energy!"

"Is that so? Hah!" Vegeta planted both feet against Android 19's face and pushed hard.

Crack! Crack!

"So this is where you absorb energy from..." Vegeta looked at the Android's severed hand, then tossed it aside.

"Wah... Aaah..." Android 19 fled in terror, clutching his head.

"You're scared now, Android? Take this—my Super Attack!"

Vegeta fired a Ki Blast with one hand at the fleeing Android 19.

Boom! Bang!

All that remained of Android 19 was his round head, which fell to the ground.

Seeing things going badly, Dr. Gero ran away.

"Hey, Vegeta! The other one's getting away. He's hiding behind those rocks!" Tien Shinhan's third eye spotted him, and he hurriedly called out.

"Tch. Go home and enjoy some milk. Don't get in my way." After saying that, Vegeta flew off at incredible speed, the air around him turning misty as he gave chase.

Although Android 19 had absorbed some of Vegeta's energy, Vegeta hadn't used his full strength, so he had no trouble going after Dr. Gero.

"I'm going to take a look. I want to make sure the Android is dead," Tien Shinhan said.

"I'm coming too. Isn't this what we've been training for?" Gohan said.

"I'll go too. What about you, Wumian? Vegeta's gotten stronger, but with your strength, you should be even stronger than him. Why aren't you stepping in?" Krillin asked.

"There's no need for me to step in. Have you ever seen an elephant go out of its way to step on an ant? You should catch up with them. I'm waiting for someone here."

Sun Wumian spoke casually. The person he was waiting for was, of course, Trunks.

"You're no match for that Android 20. He's probably hiding in Rock Mountain. Since he's an Android, you can't sense his energy, so be careful. If you find him, let me or Vegeta know," Piccolo said finally.

Gohan, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, and Piccolo all chased after them.

Nine kilometers southwest of South City, Future Trunks appeared in the sky above an island.
