Sending Kakarot Away

Before the campfire, two small figures sat, each gnawing on a deer leg.

"Brother Kasso, that little rascal Nail is so weak, how did he dare to make a bet with you?" Ausbie asked while eating.

"He isn't weak. He has a combat power of over a thousand, which is even higher than yours."

Seeing Ausbie's little face covered in grease, Kasso reached out to wipe it, but only ended up smearing it more, which made her puff out her cheeks in anger.

"Ah? He's that impressive?" Ausbie felt a bit dejected; it seemed every little rascal she met was stronger than her.

After having his potential unlocked by the Grand Elder, Kasso had already reached a combat power of 12,000.

She only had 1,200 combat power right now, and she had no idea when she would be able to catch up to him.

Ausbie pulled a long face and took a depressed bite of the venison.

Kasso smiled but said nothing.

Nail's talent was indeed quite formidable, feeling even stronger than Piccolo, though his heart lacked the same strength as Piccolo's.

Piccolo had always aimed to defeat Goku, possessing a tenacious will; even though he eventually couldn't keep up with Goku's pace, he never gave up.

If Nail had the same goal and a powerful heart, his achievements would likely surpass even those of Piccolo.

After a while.

Kasso tossed the bone into the nearby river and lay down on the ground.

For months, he hadn't really eaten roasted meat like this, having relied on the nutrient solution on the spaceship to sustain his life.

Finally eating roasted meat again, he was stuffed.

Kasso shifted over to Ausbie's side: "Little Biel, now that you've learned Instant Transmission, we're planning to leave here tomorrow and return to Planet Vegeta."

"Wow, we can finally go home!"

Ausbie continued happily: "Aunt Gine will definitely be shocked when she sees our combat power."

After saying this, she giggled inexplicably.

"Hm?"

Kasso raised an eyebrow; he hadn't expected this girl to enjoy showing off so much!

Still, playing the pig to eat the tiger in front of others did feel quite satisfying.

He chuckled to himself; truly, birds of a feather flock together.

When Bardock saw his combat power, his expression would surely be spectacular!

Just thinking about it made him happy!

Kasso and Ausbie suddenly froze in place.

In the night, the two small figures sat blankly before the fire.

Looking at their little faces, their expressions were somewhere between a smile and a smirk, as if they were deep in thought.

If someone with telepathy were here, they would certainly know what was going on in their minds.

It turned out they were both fantasizing about the scene of showing off once they returned to Planet Vegeta!!!

The next day.

"Alright, let's go say goodbye to Elder Hu Su and the others!"

The two extinguished the campfire, and then Kasso took Ausbie and used Instant Transmission to return to Yardrat.

Kasso, holding Ausbie, appeared in front of Hu Su's door.

He knocked on the door.

Hearing the commotion, Hu Su walked out.

Kasso and Ausbie cast one last look at the town on Yardrat.

"Let's go."

With those words, the two of them, along with the ship, vanished from the spot.

Planet Vegeta.

A thunderous roar echoed across the sky. Looking up, one could see many Saiyan spaceships streaking overhead, leaving behind trails of silver-white light!

It was the Saiyans returning from their missions.

Countless ships descended from the sky.

"How did your mission go?"

"Don't ask, I almost died out there!"

"Huh? What happened?"

Many Saiyans stepped out of their ships, discussing their missions as they walked.

Just then, the hatch of a nearby ship opened, and a burly man stepped out.

He wore the signature Saiyan combat armor, a tail wrapped around his waist, and his face bore a few small scars.

"Captain, I'm back," he said, striding over.

"Long time no see, Garis." Bardock offered a smile.

He had no duties today, so he had come to welcome his squad members back.

"Indeed. Where are those two little ones, Kasso?"

"Them? They went out on a mission."

"I thought you said you wouldn't let them go on missions until they were older?" Garis looked displeased.

Kasso's parents had sacrificed themselves to save him.

Garis had promised Kasso's parents that he would protect Kasso well.

Because he was frequently away on missions, he had been forced to entrust Kasso to the captain, but he hadn't expected the boy to be sent out anyway.

"It was Kasso who requested it, and I only assigned him a very simple task. You have to understand, Saiyans..." Before Bardock could finish, a thunderous boom suddenly erupted in the sky.

This sound was far beyond anything a landing Saiyan ship could produce!

The two men looked up.

What was that?

A massive spacecraft!

"Lord Bardock, isn't that a ship belonging to Frieza's subordinates?" Garis asked, stunned.

Wasn't it said that Frieza wouldn't arrive at Planet Vegeta for another half-month?

Why was he here so much earlier?

"Frieza!" Bardock stared at the ship in the sky, gritting his teeth.

Was the story from his vision about to repeat itself?

"Garis, I'll explain about Kasso when I get back! I have something important to do right now!" Bardock turned and hurried toward his home.

"Cap..." Garis watched his captain's retreating figure, feeling bewildered.

Nighttime.

The delicate Gine followed closely behind Bardock.

Bardock carried a spaceship on his shoulder; he had stolen it from the launch center. Inside sat the young Goku, and he had already removed the tracking device from it!

Tears streaked Gine's face, and she pressed her lips together, not daring to make a sound for fear of their actions being discovered.

"Bardock, do we really have to send Kakarot away?" Gine choked out.

"There's no other way. I hope I'm wrong, but if I'm not, we can always go and bring him back!" Bardock set the ship down on the ground.

Through the transparent hatch, the two looked at Kakarot with eyes full of reluctance.

"Kakarot, you must stay safe." Tears streamed down Gine's face once more.

Bardock held Gine tightly, looking up at the ship until it safely flew beyond the horizon!

A day later.

Many spaceships were still returning to Planet Vegeta from abroad.

Suddenly!

Two older ships plummeted straight down from the sky.

Through the transparent hatches, the silhouettes of two children could be seen.

They were awake, watching the scenery outside, having never entered a state of hibernation.
