Planet Vegeta's Great Explosion

Kasso used Instant Transmission to reach a planet not far from Planet Vegeta, then immediately erupted in a white aura, soared into the sky, and shot straight out into space.

The pitch-black cosmos flickered with occasional glints of light as Kasso flew out from the planet.

He cast his gaze forward.

In the distance, Planet Vegeta began to glow, growing increasingly dazzling.

A massive energy sphere appeared above the atmosphere of Planet Vegeta, illuminating the entire world as clearly as if it were bathed in the scorching light of a newborn sun.

With Planet Vegeta right before his eyes, Kasso watched silently as the Planet Destroyer Bomb slowly sank into the surface, waiting for the planet to detonate.

Having been in the Dragon Ball world for two years, Kasso felt neither anger nor rage at the sight of Planet Vegeta's impending destruction; thanks to the sentiments of his past life, he had already done more than enough.

He had first traveled to Namek to make a wish, then used Instant Transmission to relocate a portion of the Saiyan population, accomplishing everything within his power.

Perhaps it was the influence of his Saiyan bloodline, or perhaps it was his knowledge of the future plot, but even now, as Planet Vegeta stood on the brink of annihilation, it did not cause the slightest ripple in Kasso's heart.

After all, he had managed to preserve the bloodlines of nearly 200 *Saiyan*s.

Inside Planet Vegeta.

The Planet Destroyer Bomb exerted a powerful pressure. The *Saiyan*s in their Great Ape forms braced themselves with one hand against the ground, struggling to lift their heads. Even though they lacked reason in this state, their subconscious minds were gripped by terror, and their massive bodies trembled incessantly!

The Planet Destroyer Bomb passed right through the bodies of King Vegeta and the other four Great Apes. Their counterattacks were futile; not even their gargantuan ape forms could stall the energy sphere for a single second!

Boom! Boom!

Passing through the atmosphere, the Planet Destroyer Bomb smashed downward. Because the energy was so immense, the very space seemed to shatter, emitting a dull, thunderous roar!

As it descended, the atmosphere was further compressed. The mountain ranges below began to disintegrate, with boulders nearly ten meters wide tumbling down one after another.

As the boulders crashed, the earth shook and split, the fissures spreading into the distance until they were halted by more solid ground.

"Roar!"

"Roar!"

Seeing the Planet Destroyer Bomb about to descend upon them, the Great Apes let out cries of terror.

They dared not remain where they were; their instincts screamed that if they did not run, they would die!

The *Saiyan*s transformed into Great Apes fled in all directions, some sprinting toward the forests, others toward the mountains, desperate only to escape this place of doom.

Yet, they did not realize that no matter how they ran, there was no escaping their fate.

"Boom! Boom!"

The Planet Destroyer Bomb finally struck the ground.

Looking down from above, the energy sphere slowly bored into the crust until it vanished, leaving only a massive crater in its wake.

"Crack, crack."

Fissures appeared in the soil around the crater. Unlike the cracks caused by falling boulders, these grew wider—starting at ten centimeters, then fifty, and continuing to expand without any sign of stopping.

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

The hurricanes on the sea had ceased along with the battle, but now, inexplicable winds began to howl, whipping up waves that leaped from the surface!

What was that?

A tornado had actually appeared on the ocean?

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh."

A tornado over a thousand meters high began to ravage the sea, sweeping the giant fish from the depths into the sky.

Driven by the tornado, a tsunami began to form. Waves dozens of meters high surged forward, and the coastline collapsed before the sheer scale of the deluge.

Five minutes later.

"Boom!"

Planet Vegeta suffered a violent tremor. Massive tectonic plates floated haphazardly across the surface, and molten lava spewed from the depths, hissing with blue smoke as it splashed everywhere, creating a rain of searing magma that fell back upon the earth.

Ten minutes passed.

The Planet Destroyer Bomb had already reached the core. Not a single place on Planet Vegeta remained intact.

Floods washed over the land, tsunamis raged, and lava sprayed; every manner of cataclysm was eroding the planet.

Amidst the volcanic eruptions, the scorching lava hissed with blue smoke, spraying thousands of meters into the air. Planet Vegeta's atmosphere was shrouded in a ring of smoke, and from outside the planet, nothing of the surface could be seen.

Finally, with a "bang," Planet Vegeta transformed into a brilliant radiance, shooting out in all directions into the depths of the cosmos.

"Hahaha!"

"This is the price for opposing me." Frieza laughed toward the heavens, his body radiating an aura of extreme evil.

"Mr. Dodoria, isn't this fireworks display beautiful?"

Frieza returned to his usual elegance, crossing his arms as if he had forgotten that Dodoria had just witnessed him lose his composure.

"As expected of Lord Frieza, the fireworks you set off are the most beautiful in the universe." Dodoria felt a chill run through his heart, and he hurriedly answered Frieza's question.

Just moments ago, when Frieza had pointed his finger at him, Dodoria had felt as though he had already stepped halfway into hell.

Even seeing their own teammates on Planet Vegeta destroyed alongside the planet by Frieza, they dared not utter a sound.

Now was the time to flatter him at every opportunity!

"Oh my, the Saiyan were actually quite useful; it's a pity, now I have to go find another group of free laborers all over again." Frieza's tone carried a hint of regret.

"As long as you broadcast the name of Lord Frieza, I am certain many will come to pledge their loyalty to you," Dodoria said, fawning incessantly.

"Let's go, we are heading home." Frieza nodded in satisfaction.

The moment Frieza turned away, Dodoria patted his chest; he had finally escaped a brush with death!

Subsequently, Frieza and Dodoria re-entered the ship, and the surrounding vessels followed Frieza's craft as they flew back toward headquarters.

Stationed in the distance, Ginyu shouted through the communication device: "Let's head back as well!"

Following this, five ships quickly caught up to the ones in front.

Hundreds of streaks of light cut through the interstellar space—all of them ships belonging to Frieza's forces—as they made their way home.

At the very front of the light-speed formation was a massive vessel.

Inside the ship, Frieza sat upon his hoverchair, eyes closed in repose, muttering to himself: "Lord Beerus, I have completed the task you assigned me!"

Kasso remained silently in the vacuum of space.

The Saiyan race had endured the internal strife on Planet Sadala and survived the rebellion against the Tuffle, weathering all manner of hardships, yet they had nearly been wiped out by Frieza.

One must always look forward; let the past be the past. Even if the Saiyan wanted revenge, they would have to wait until the Dragon Ball storyline began.

In a little over a decade, the Dragon Ball storyline would commence. Thinking of this, Kasso could not help but feel a surge of excitement.

Is it finally about to begin?

He had to prepare well; he did not want to end up like Piccolo and the others, relegated to mere background characters in the end.

After a while, as the final light of Planet Vegeta dissipated and vanished, Kasso also disappeared from the spot without a trace.
