Two small figures kicked up towering waves, and the wind flattened Korin's whiskers against his cheeks. The gale was so fierce he could barely keep his eyes open.
"What are those two trying to do?"
They weren't training in the Heavenly Realm, yet they'd suddenly come here. Korin couldn't make sense of it.
As two white auras drew closer, Kasso and Ausbie suddenly let their ki fade just before reaching Korin Tower.
The sky returned to calm.

Korin watched in astonishment, as if a thunderclap had just exploded above his head.
The ki of Kasso and Ausbie had vanished in an instant!
Had they really mastered ki?
Korin rubbed his eyes and took another careful look. It seemed he'd forgotten that ki couldn't be seen.
"Hello!" Kasso landed on Korin Tower and greeted him.
Seeing Korin's horrified expression, he touched his own face. There was nothing there. Why was Korin looking at him like that?
Korin had good reason to be stunned. In the anime, after Goku defeated King Piccolo and went to the Heavenly Realm, it took him three years of training to fully grasp ki.
Of course, Korin only knew that Goku was training to use ki. He had no idea whether Goku had done any other training afterward.
Now Korin had witnessed two little kids master ki in less than a month and control it with ease. It was downright terrifying.
Korin pointed a little paw at Kasso, trembling slightly. "Y-you've learned how to use ki?"
"Yeah. Is there a problem?" Kasso asked, puzzled.
What was wrong with Korin? He hadn't hurt Earth, so why was he looking at him like that?
Ausbie stared wide-eyed at the fat cat, finding him rather strange.
"Big Brother Kasso, is he stupid?" Ausbie whispered.
She thought she was being quiet.
Little did she know!
Korin: "..."
Kasso chuckled to himself. The little girl was still as adorable as ever.
Still, he could tell Korin was surprised. When he'd landed on Korin Tower, he'd casually suppressed his ki. That was probably what had shocked Korin.
No one in the entire anime had mastered ki so quickly. Back when Kasso was learning Instant Transmission on Yardrat, he'd already felt that his aptitude for learning was unusually strong. Now, he'd picked up how to use ki on Earth just as quickly.
He wondered if it was because two souls had fused.
"Big Brother Kasso, what are you thinking about?" Ausbie asked, puzzled when he stood there without moving.
"Nothing!" Kasso said, smiling at Little Biel.
The girl had a pretty impressive talent herself. It had taken her about as long as Goku to learn Instant Transmission, and with Kasso's guidance, she'd also quickly learned to use ki.
"Did you come here for something?" Korin asked, finally recovering.
He looked at the two of them strangely, as if they were a pair of monsters.
"I heard you have some beans here. If you eat one, you won't feel hungry for ten days, even without eating," Kasso said.
"You mean Senzu Beans?"
"Yeah!"
"I do have some, but what do you want them for? They're meant for martial artists who climb Korin Tower. They won't be much use to the two of you." Korin scratched his head.
"No use?"
Kasso chuckled to himself. These miraculous healing beans were precious—once you ate one, it was gone. Later on, Goku and the others would practically wish they could split a single Senzu Bean in half.
And Korin was saying they were no use!
Kasso's lips curled upward. If that was the case, this would be easy!
"Could you give me some Senzu Beans? Or I could trade you something for them."
"What would you trade?"
Korin didn't yet understand how valuable Senzu Beans were, but he'd spent hundreds of years growing them. He wasn't willing to give them away for nothing. Still, he wouldn't mind trading the supposedly useless things for something else.
Hearing Korin's answer, Kasso smiled faintly. This looked promising.
He'd first asked Korin to give him the beans for free, then mentioned trading. That way, Korin could choose between the two. Kasso knew that no matter how useless something was, people still wouldn't give it away for nothing.
Sure enough, Korin's response didn't disappoint him.
"How about I trade you fish?"
"Fish?"
Korin froze for a moment, then his eyes lit up. "Sure, sure!"
But after speaking, he realized he'd sounded a little too eager. He pretended to calm down. "Um... how about twenty fish for one Senzu Bean?"
Kasso showed no reaction.
Was that asking too much?
Korin thought it over and decided that it probably was.
He coughed twice. "If you think that's too much, ten fish for one bean would work too. You should know how powerful Senzu Beans are. One will keep you from feeling hungry for ten days."
"No need. Twenty fish for one Senzu Bean it is!"
Kasso kept a straight face, but inside, he was over the moon.
He'd gladly trade twenty fish for one Senzu Bean. He'd even trade twenty thousand fish for one!
"Little Biel, wait here for me. I'll be right back."
With that, Kasso suddenly disappeared.
Before long, he reappeared in the same spot.
While he was gone, Kasso had gone to the city and "borrowed" dozens of Capsules from a large Hoi-Poi Capsule store.
Then he'd headed to the Pacific Ocean, dived beneath the waves, and caught fish like crazy. He didn't stop until dozens of Hoi-Poi Capsules were packed full.
Back on Korin Tower.
Ausbie stared wide-eyed at Kasso, who'd suddenly appeared.
She scratched her head. It hadn't even been ten minutes. Was Big Brother Kasso really that fast?
"Take a look at these fish."
Kasso pressed the button on a Capsule, and a huge box appeared out of nowhere on the ground.
He pointed at it. "I have dozens more boxes like this."
Kasso pulled the doors apart, and the entire boxful of fish spilled out in an instant.
"Fish... They're all fish!"
Korin's breath caught at the sight of so many fish. He'd never seen this many in his life.
The last time he'd eaten fish had been a hundred years ago. He'd nearly forgotten what it tasted like.
With this many fish, he could probably eat for a long time.
At the thought, Korin's heart pounded wildly. "Take all the Senzu Beans!"
Korin estimated there were at least fifty thousand fish in the box, and Kasso still had dozens more just like it. He was so excited he nearly jumped.
What a good person!
Kasso: "..."
He hadn't expected to be called a good person.
Seeing Korin sprawled atop the pile of fish, Kasso smiled and walked over to where he'd pointed.
Three wooden tubs sat on the ground, each covered with a wooden lid!
Kasso lifted the lids. Seeing that the tubs were filled with Senzu Beans, his breath caught. Now he was as excited as Korin had been moments earlier.
"So many! So many!"
Kasso was practically losing his mind. All three tubs were full of Senzu Beans. There had to be tens of thousands! He still had one Capsule from the Hoi-Poi Capsule store he'd "borrowed" from earlier.
Just as he was about to pack them all away, Kasso paused.
After thinking it over, he emptied only two-thirds of the last tub.
There should still be a few thousand Senzu Beans left!
