Kasso brought everyone back to Earth's Heavenly Realm, then vanished from sight.
"Sun Wukong, you'd better not get lost in domestic bliss. If I catch up to you, you'll be in for it!" Piccolo said coldly.
Goku chuckled sheepishly. "I thought you'd never catch up to me, Piccolo. I didn't know you could assimilate your people to get stronger. That's amazing!"
With that, Goku glanced at Piccolo and Kami.
Piccolo glanced at Kami, too.
The gesture scared Kami into hurrying back inside the Lookout.
Piccolo was speechless. It wasn't as if he was going to force Kami to fuse with him again. Was that really necessary?
Goku grinned. "I'm going home to see Chi-Chi. Want to come meet my child?"
"Tch. I have training to do. I don't have time for you!"
"Come on, come meet my child. I'm sure you'll like him!"
"Let go of me!"
Piccolo, his face green with frustration, was dragged along by Goku and had no choice but to follow him down to the world below.
Mount Paozu.
Chi-Chi was a martial artist, so giving birth had been no big deal for her. She'd gone straight home as soon as the baby was born.
Chi-Chi held the baby and kissed him. "Baby, why hasn't your daddy come back yet?"
As soon as she finished speaking,
two figures appeared outside the door.
"Chi-Chi, I'm home!" Goku shouted excitedly.
Holding the baby, Chi-Chi jumped to her feet, just as excited. "Goku!"
They ran into each other's arms and embraced lovingly, leaving Piccolo at the door unsure whether to stay or go.
"Damn it!" Piccolo cursed under his breath.
After sharing a tender moment with Chi-Chi, Goku called out, "Piccolo, come meet my son!"
Piccolo didn't budge.
Goku ran over and dragged him across anyway. "Isn't he adorable?"
