Gaino and the others returned to Longhua Planet. By then, the Namekians had already arrived on Earth, and the Namekian elder was nearing the end of his lifespan.
Goku flew toward Yardrat aboard a spaceship. By the time he reached Yardrat, he had fallen unconscious from the prolonged battles.
Meanwhile, everyone on Earth learned through King Kai's telepathy that Goku had perished along with Namek. However, King Kai had no idea that Goku had escaped Namek at the very instant it exploded.
When Bulma and the others on Earth heard this, they were all stunned. Goku had died just like that. Fortunately, they still had Namek's Dragon Balls and could revive the dead. But King Kai said that Shenron could only revive those who had died on Namek, and since Namek had already been destroyed, Goku could not be revived. However, Earth's Dragon Balls could revive Goku, so as long as Earth's Dragon Balls reappeared, Goku could be brought back.
With no other choice, Bulma and the others first revived Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, and the others. Namek's Shenron appeared and brought Krillin and the rest back to life.
Piccolo was revived as well, so the Guardian was revived along with him. The Namekians found another planet to serve as their new home. Piccolo fused with the Guardian, with Piccolo as the dominant one. The group then selected another Namekian to become the new Guardian—Tiantian. As the new Guardian, Tiantian created the Dragon Balls once more.
One day, they summoned Shenron and hoped he could revive Goku. But Shenron said, "I can't do that, because Goku isn't dead. What is there to revive?" Upon hearing this, all the gloom that had weighed on them vanished, and everyone began dancing with joy.
The peaceful days were exceptionally pleasant, and time slowly
