Planet Saiyan

Upon hearing Gaino claim to be a Saiyan, Dr. Raichi's expression turned unnatural. As someone who constantly gathered intelligence from the outside world, he was well aware that Saiyans were incredibly brutal and belligerent.

People throughout the universe referred to the Saiyans as a warrior race.

"So you are a Saiyan. What a miscalculation. Weren't you all wiped out by Frieza? How are there still so many Saiyans left?"

"It is simply because our strength is formidable."

"Hahaha, good! I love Saiyans with formidable strength; that way, I can create the most perfect warrior."

Ever since Gaino had awakened, all the Saiyans who had been lying on the ground had risen one after another. They had originally intended to play around a bit longer!

Seeing Dr. Raichi's demeanor, Gaino thought he had gone mad. "Do you not understand the situation? You are the one surrounded by us now, not the other way around."

Dr. Raichi replied, "Since you Saiyans are known as a warrior race, then let me see just how powerful your combat strength truly is."

As he spoke, Dr. Raichi pulled a remote control from his hand. "I had intended to turn you into living specimens before perfecting my work, but it seems that is no longer necessary."

Dr. Raichi pressed a button. Gaino felt a massive surge of ki appear on Planet Tuffle—an aura that felt just like the one Slug had once projected toward him.

A space traveler wearing a steel helmet suddenly appeared rapidly beside Dr. Raichi.

Dr. Raichi stroked the space traveler and said, "My treasure, you don't have to suppress yourself anymore. You can let go and slaughter to your heart's content. Do you see them? That group of Saiyans is your target."

Gaino remarked, "So that's why you were so fearless! You had a backup plan."

Dr. Raichi said, "This is my creation, though the technology is not yet perfect. I cannot control him flawlessly, but it is more than enough to deal with you Saiyans."

"Riniu, kill them for me." Dr. Raichi pressed the remote again, and the creature he called Riniu charged toward Gaino and his group.

Just as Gaino was about to strike, Bardock stopped him and said, "That last time was my fault; let me have this opportunity! I will defeat this guy."

Seeing the high-spirited battle intent in Bardock's eyes, Gaino replied, "Fine, then I leave it to you."

Gaino stepped aside, and Bardock flared his ki and charged straight at Riniu.

The moment the two collided, ripples erupted from their center, and their ki continuously expanded outward.

Dr. Raichi was blown away by the sheer force of this massive ki. Gaino was quick-witted and grabbed Dr. Raichi just in time.

Dr. Raichi muttered a thank you, but when he turned his head and saw it was Gaino, his face instantly turned the color of a pig's liver.

Gaino held Dr. Raichi with one hand while saying, "Watch closely. We Saiyans only grow stronger the more we fight. In our eyes, your creation is nothing more than a slightly stronger ant."

Bardock rained punches and kicks upon Riniu, leaving him in a chaotic scramble. With a single kick, Bardock sent Riniu flying straight into the forest.

Riniu's body flew backward, crashing through many towering trees before he finally came to a stop.

"Impossible, impossible! How could you be this strong? I am the most powerful warrior! I am Dr. Raichi's greatest creation! I cannot fail!"

Riniu flared his ki violently; his aura was now even stronger than before. Seeing this, Bardock did not show weakness and unleashed his own maximum ki to engage him.

Riniu fired a ki blast at Bardock, but Bardock swatted it away with a single palm. He then streaked toward Riniu at high speed and said, "That is not how you use a ki blast. It should be used like this."

Bardock's body flickered rapidly, appearing right in front of Riniu, and unleashed a powerful shockwave directly into his face. The intense blast shattered Riniu's helmet, and his body was sent flying toward space.

"Then I shall use this move to send you on your way!"

Bardock pressed his palms together, rapidly gathering a massive amount of ki, and unleashed a colossal shockwave at Riniu.

"Behold my super-sized energy cannon!" The energy wave reached Riniu in an instant. Riniu let out a scream within the blast before falling completely silent. The shockwave annihilated Riniu and shot off into space.

Having dealt with Dr. Raichi's creation, Bardock approached Gaino and said, "I've finished him off. I didn't disgrace the Saiyans, did I?"

Gaino replied, "Very good, very Saiyan. Go and recover your stamina first. I have a good chat to have with Dr. Raichi."

Dr. Raichi was completely numb by now, never expecting his proudest creation to be so fragile.

"Dr. Raichi, let's have a good chat now."

Gaino's voice pulled Dr. Raichi back to the real world.

"Since you wanted to use us Saiyans for living experiments, that means your laboratory must be full of test subjects, right? Come, take us to broaden our horizons."

Dr. Raichi stammered, "D-don't you think it's better not to look? The things in my laboratory haven't been fully assembled yet!"

"That makes it even more worth seeing. By the way, Iso, notify all the Tuffles on Planet Tuffle; let them see the work of their Dr. Raichi."

"Ah, this..." Iso had wanted to say "forget it," but upon seeing Gaino's gaze, the words died in his throat.

Gaino dragged Dr. Raichi toward the laboratory with one hand.

All the Saiyans followed behind Gaino, equally curious about what kind of things this scientist had been tinkering with.

Arriving at the entrance of Dr. Raichi's laboratory, Gaino blasted the door open with a single ki shot. The first thing they saw were Laiya and Laika standing at the entrance.

Many Tuffles greeted Dr. Laika upon seeing him, but when they saw his haggard appearance, their eyes filled with fury.

At this moment, Laiya helped Dr. Laika over to Gaino and said, "Dr. Laika is starving, and on top of that, the disgusting experiments Dr. Raichi conducted every day have traumatized Dr. Laika's mind."

"Hmm. Iso, take Dr. Laika away to rest."

Iso hurried over to support Dr. Laika, but the scene before him filled him with rage. Iso saw his own companions severed into pieces—one of them even being Dr. Raichi's own son—their bodies connected to oxygenation equipment.

Iso screamed, "Raichi, you beast! You didn't even spare your own son! Are you even human?"

Iso charged forward and began raining punches and kicks upon Dr. Raichi.

Dr. Raichi shielded his head with his arms and shouted at Iso, "For the sake of science, I was even willing to sacrifice my own son! But what about you lot? None of you are willing to let your own kin contribute to scientific progress."

Iso pummeled Dr. Raichi relentlessly. "Science, is it? Contribution, is it? I'll show you, you animal, keep on daydreaming about your live experiments!"

Sigh, this Dr. Raichi is beyond saving.

Gaino unleashed a single energy blast that obliterated all the live experiments, then finished off Dr. Raichi with a single, lethal punch.

He addressed everyone present, "I do not oppose your scientific pursuits, but you are forbidden from using living beings for your experiments. Furthermore, from this moment on, the Tuffle serve only us, and Planet Tuffle shall be renamed Planet Saiyan."
