It had been four hours since Natasha entered the base, and she felt that the time had passed rather pleasantly.

The long table was laden with tea and snacks as they discussed that time-travel mission over coffee and tea. Jemma Simmons had prepared all the refreshments. They were only cheap little snacks, but they looked presentable enough.

S.H.I.E.L.D. was earnestly entertaining these two unexpected guests. Although S.H.I.E.L.D. had reached a partnership with the US Government, a secret military base could hardly have a store, so all such nonessential items had to be purchased outside.

Coulson's team's experiences seventy years in the future were sympathetic. As a listener, Natasha ate hot coffee and biscuits while carefully gathering information. She was also curious about the Kree. The few aliens she had encountered had either been mass-produced biochemical soldiers or an alien prince with a one-track mind.

Although Coulson's team had only spent a few months on the Space Station, what they knew about the Kree nobility's habits was quite interesting. Habits were largely reflections of social culture. Take water pie from the United States' Great Depression, for example. A few details might be enough to infer the current state of Kree society.

She had already retired from being an agent. Gathering information was purely a personal habit.

If possible, Natasha would rather call this stop-and-go journey from Houston to Zurich "The X-Files" or "American Horror Story." Once they left the United States, she would be willing to change it to a more accurate name. Now, it seemed their plan to leave the United States by plane would have to be delayed again.

When her traveling companion and bedmate bluntly pointed out that S.H.I.E.L.D. had gotten itself into serious trouble, she knew this journey was destined not to go
