Background

Cen Yu is a transmigrator who was reborn into the Douluo Continent. At six, he watched Spirit Kings destroy his village and murder his family over a thousand-year spirit bone that his father, Cen He, had found for him. Cornered at a cliff, he awakened a terrifying malevolent power and defeated the attackers. 1

He sought out Bishop Zhang Shou'an, joining Martial Soul Hall so that he could grow stronger and avenge the dead. His displayed Miao Shi Heavenly Maiden martial soul and innate level-twenty soul power brought Bibi Dong personally to the branch hall; Cen Yu boldly requested that she take him as her master, and she accepted. 1 2
