Yuliya blinked and looked back. A burly man, a head taller than her, stood behind her with an expressionless face.
When he noticed her looking, the man lowered his gaze slightly and gave her a stiff smile.
Though she hadn't understood what the man had just said, she saw the clerk's look of realization and watched him accept the banknote and start counting out her change.
She immediately understood. The man behind her must have paid for her.
"Thank you. Thank you so much!" Yuliya sincerely thanked Zhong Can.
