Five translucent souls, three men and two women, hurried over. When they saw the spatial passage Gentō was maintaining with a Truth-Seeking Orb, uncontrollable delight flashed across their faces.
Then they exchanged glances.
A curvaceous, radiant red-haired woman wearing a red outer robe stepped forward and greeted Gentō and Hikari.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Uzumaki Ayane from the Land of Whirlpools. I look forward to getting along with you."
The other four stood a short distance away, watching Gentō and Hikari warily.
Unlike the uniformly white Pure Land, these translucent souls wore brightly colored clothing, adding a little life to the monotonous landscape.

Then, before Ayane could stop him, the middle-aged man stormed closer, snorted at Gentō, and glanced at the silent Uchiha Hikari.
"You two should be grateful you're in the Pure Land. It's keeping you alive."
"Sooner or later, I'll show those Uchiha bastards what cruelty really means."
Leaving those words through gritted teeth, the middle-aged man strode toward the spatial passage Gentō had opened.
"I'm sorry, Gentō. Akihiko was killed by a member of your clan when he was alive. He's been hostile toward every Uchiha for hundreds of years."
"I apologize on his behalf for troubling you."
