"Tut... a surprisingly civilized Dark wizard?" Isaac stood by the window, watching the Dark wizard use an Unlocking Spell to enter, and marveled at the excellent education Hogwarts provided.
"I thought he'd use Bombarda to blow the front door open."
It had to be said, Hogwarts really did feel a little like compulsory education for the Wizarding World.
Most Dark wizards in Britain's Wizarding World had received a basic education at Hogwarts.
As long as their brains had not been completely ruined by Dark Magic, that education allowed those Dark wizards to know which spells to use in different situations.
For instance, when faced with an iron gate, an invading Dark wizard would still use an Unlocking Spell.
The moment he entered the garden, the Dark wizard abruptly looked up and met Isaac's eyes through the window.
Isaac raised his wand and waved at him, then vanished from the window.
"Hmph! A little brat who doesn't know his place." The Dark wizard narrowed his eyes and immediately strode toward the two-story villa.
"Gellert, I'm curious. Do all wizards who study and use Dark Magic eventually turn into mindless fools like this?"
Isaac moved quickly, yet he did not run through the villa. He held his wand, cautious but unafraid.
He even had the leisure to discuss Dark wizards' brains with Grindelwald beside him.
Isaac's behavior in Diagon Alley had been fairly normal for a young wizard, so it was barely reasonable that the Dark wizard following him had not grown suspicious.
But now, he had already broken into a young wizard's home and brazenly walked into Isaac's yard.
They had even stared at each other through the glass. Not only was the young wizard unafraid, he had smiled and greeted him from the window.
Wouldn't any normal person stop to consider whether this was a trap?
This Dark wizard did not. Not only did he fail to think, he charged even more fiercely.
"What is your definition of a Dark wizard?" Grindelwald still wore the appearance of an elegant old man.
He followed a short distance behind Isaac at an unhurried pace, paying no attention whatsoever to the Dark wizard below.
He certainly had the right not to care about that Dark wizard. More importantly, his real body was not even here.
Nor did Isaac have the ability to directly throw the Dark wizard into Nurmengard.
He had not seen Grindelwald for many days, and Isaac suspected that the old man had not appeared this time for his sake.
Rather, he had come for Dumbledore, who was currently hidden somewhere unknown.
Fine, fine. The older generation was using him, a first-year young wizard, as a bridge for their romance, was that it?
"A wizard who uses Dark Magic?" Isaac thought for a moment and gave a somewhat uncertain answer.
Grindelwald burst out laughing after hearing that, then said that by Isaac's standards, at least ninety-nine percent of Britain's Wizarding World would have to be locked up in Azkaban.
This young wizard was even more extreme than Grindelwald himself.
"To be precise, it should be wizards who abuse Dark Magic," Grindelwald explained unhurriedly.
"A wizard's will influences magic, and magic likewise erodes a wizard's will.
"Using Dark Magic in moderation will not drastically alter a wizard's temperament, but abusing Dark Magic accelerates magic's erosion of one's will."
Grindelwald gave the most straightforward example. "Like the Acolytes and the Death Eaters—my followers never turned themselves into lunatics."
Grindelwald was somewhat disdainful of that junior called Voldemort.
When Grindelwald had still been active across Europe, no one had ever called him a "Demon King."
Because he was not a terrorist.
He could have been a reformer, a dictator, or even the most dangerous criminal.
But no one had ever called him a Demon King.
After Voldemort appeared, some people began calling Voldemort the Dark Lord.
During the years when the Dark Lord disappeared from public view, some also classified Grindelwald among the Dark Lords.
However, that title had never received official recognition.
If any authority truly wanted to define Grindelwald as the first-generation Dark Lord, the first thing he would do was expel Voldemort from the ranks of Dark Lords.
What a joke. The Acolytes who had once followed Grindelwald were all people with ideals and aspirations.
No matter how crooked their ideals were, they were people with convictions.
And the Death Eaters? A small portion were polished self-interested opportunists, the heads of pure-blood families.
Most of them were lunatics whose brains had been ruined by Dark Magic.
Even Voldemort himself was one of those with something wrong in his head.
Isaac did not care how disdainful Grindelwald was of Tom Riddle. He only cared about one thing right now.
Since studying and using Dark Magic normally would not ruin his brain, could he perhaps cram a little at the last minute?
"Gellert, Gellert! How about teaching me your Protego Fiendfyre?
"Let's give Britain's Wizarding World a taste of gas-stove shock!"
To be honest, ever since Isaac had confirmed what world he was in and discovered he could see Grindelwald, he had been coveting Grindelwald's Protego Fiendfyre.
Being strong was temporary, but looking cool lasted a lifetime. And Protego Fiendfyre was both powerful and cool.
It was one thing for others not to know Grindelwald and thus lack the opportunity, but Isaac had the advantage of proximity!
Uncle Gellert, I want to support you in your old age!
Grindelwald's expression beside him was rather peculiar. He was neither angry nor surprised. How should one describe it...
It was like: I knew you brat would say that. I just didn't expect you to actually have the nerve to say it.
Was it something an ordinary person could do, to shock Grindelwald twice over with the same thing?
In the end, all those expressions turned into distant disdain. Grindelwald said irritably:
"Don't even think about it. You can't even meet the prerequisites for Protego Fiendfyre.
"Do you know the Fiendfyre Curse? Have you figured out the Fidelius Charm? And Legilimency..."
By the end, Grindelwald himself could barely keep a straight face. This brat really thought he was somebody, wanting to instantly master so many spells in such a short time?
Did he think he was Merlin? Even Merlin would need time to learn them~
"Children should play with things meant for children." After tossing out those words, Grindelwald vanished from before Isaac's eyes.
Isaac was not angry at Grindelwald's sudden disappearance. Uncle Gellert just had a sharp tongue and a soft heart.
Because at the very instant Grindelwald vanished, Isaac sensed that he had unlocked a prophetic vision related to Grindelwald.
Why were Seers said to be people who toyed with time?
Besides being able to see scenes from the future, the most important reason was that within one or two seconds, they could see events spanning hours, days, or years.
The next second, in the villa's hall, Isaac came face-to-face with the intruding Dark wizard in reality.
"Stupefy!"
"Wingardium Leviosa!!!"
Isaac bent his knees and ducked his head, evading the spell fired by the Dark wizard. Then, he struck the Dark wizard's wand with a Levitation Charm.
Precision and power were advantages Isaac possessed through the will of a transmigrator. The next second, the Dark wizard's wand flew from his hand.
"Engorgio!" The wand, originally as small and delicate as a conductor's baton, suddenly turned into a baseball bat.
The Dark wizard snatched the wand from midair and swung at nothing.
The magic that had been brewing in his throat sputtered out completely.
