Looking at Yeyu's sincere expression, Tagorihime froze for a moment.
"Come on, hurry inside."
Ichikishimahime pushed Yeyu in from behind.
Floating in the air, Ichikishimahime looked at Tagorihime. "What are you doing?"
Tagorihime blinked. "What?"
Tagitsuhime floated over beside Tagorihime. "You're acting suspicious."
Tagorihime immediately revealed her snake face. "What do you mean by that? Want me to eat you?"
Tagitsuhime and Ichikishimahime laughed. "Who's afraid of whom?"
They immediately revealed their snake faces too.
They could freely switch between snake and human forms.
To humans, the three of them were monsters.
But they called themselves snake sages.
Of course, the only reason people feared monsters was that they couldn't beat them.
Yeyu wasn't afraid, because he could beat them.
Naturally, when they transformed into snakes, it looked no different to Yeyu than changing their faces.
Ichikishimahime pushed Yeyu inside.
In the dim, spacious cavern, a red serpent about a hundred and fifty meters long coiled around a massive stone pillar.
Sensing someone enter,
it slowly slithered down the pillar and came toward Yeyu from the darkest part of the cave.
Yeyu walked toward it slowly.
With a smile, he said, "My name is Yeyu. I'm a summoner contracted with Ryūchi Cave, and I'd like you to become my Summoned Beast."
At Yeyu's words, a glint flashed in the serpent's eyes.
"Rumble..."
Suddenly, the serpent burst out of the darkness. Its enormous body lunged forward, jaws gaping to reveal two ten-meter-long fangs as it tried to swallow Yeyu.
"Bang!"
"Rumble!"
The serpent swallowed Yeyu in one bite.
Its massive body fell from the air and rolled several times across the ground. The earth couldn't withstand the impact and shook violently.
The Three Goddesses, who had been watching from outside, were stunned. "Garaga's so strong! He swallowed that bastard in one bite?"
"Boom!"
Suddenly, a force blasted Garaga hundreds of meters away.
He slammed into the cavern wall.
The tremendous force nearly killed him.
"Who—who dares attack me?"
The blow had really hurt.
When he came to his senses, he saw a familiar figure floating in the air.
"Are you crazy? Why did you hit me?"
Garaga was furious when he saw her.
The person floating in the air was Tagorihime.
Her face cold, she said, "Spit him out. The White Snake Sage personally chose him as a summoner. Do you want to die?"
Garaga was dumbfounded. "He's just a human. What's it to you?"
"He's my meal today. Got a problem with that?"
"If you want to steal my prey, you'll have to prove you can."
Tagorihime's eyes narrowed. "You don't think being big makes you strong, do you?"
"Do you really think you're the king of Ryūchi Cave?"
Garaga didn't bother replying. He opened his mouth and lunged at Tagorihime in the air.
"Boom!"
"Rumble!"
Garaga was fast, but Tagorihime was faster. She became a streak of light, appeared at his nape, and kicked his several-thousand-ton body hundreds of meters away.
She even knocked off the reverse scale at his nape.
The White Snake Sage had always wanted to remove that scale.
But Garaga was too violent, and no one had ever been able to take it off.
Who would have thought Tagorihime would knock it off so easily today?
Tagorihime didn't stop.
She thrust out both hands. "Devour!"
As Tagorihime's Senjutsu Chakra poured out in a torrent,
Garaga, who had nearly been snapped in half by her kick, suddenly felt the ground beneath him shaking violently.
"Rumble!"
Most of the cavern floor was made of stone, but the stones suddenly turned into sand and gravel, which began devouring Garaga's body.
Part of his body had already been swallowed.
The pain made Garaga roar. "Roar!"
"Tagorihime, have you lost your mind? I only stole your food! You're trying to kill me over that?"
Floating in the air, Tagorihime poured out Senjutsu Chakra without holding back. "I'll say it again: spit him out, or die."
Garaga tried to fight back, but the sand and gravel beneath him were about to devour his scales and skin. His flesh would be next.
Tagorihime controlled the ground throughout the cavern, for hundreds of meters in every direction.
In that moment, he understood the difference between a Great Snake and a Goddess.
All the Goddesses could use Senjutsu. Their physical strength might not match his, but their Senjutsu was incredibly troublesome. If they fought to the death, he would be the one to die.
Garaga seemed to have forgotten who had just kicked his massive body hundreds of meters, and who had nearly snapped him in half with a single blow.
Even in physical strength, he was no match for Tagorihime.
Garaga was puzzled.
Wasn't Tagorihime usually kind to the Great Snakes of Ryūchi Cave?
He had never seen her lose her temper with one of them.
What was going on today?
She was acting like she'd swallowed explosives.
"Did that crazy woman take the wrong medicine today? Is she deliberately targeting me?"
Garaga figured he might have been too arrogant before, and Tagorihime had finally had enough. Now she was using this as an excuse to beat him.
At the cave entrance, Ichikishimahime and Tagitsuhime were still too stunned to react.
"What's gotten into Tagorihime?"
Tagitsuhime was the first to come to her senses. "Hurry over there! Don't let her beat Garaga to death."
Garaga was the strongest of the Great Snakes in Ryūchi Cave.
He was the strongest after the White Snake Sage and the Three Goddesses.
If Tagorihime killed him, the White Snake Sage would surely punish them.
The two of them flew to Tagorihime's side. "Tagorihime, what's wrong with you? Why are you attacking Garaga?"
Tagorihime ignored them. Pointing at Garaga, she shouted coldly, "I'll say it again. Spit him out!"
Garaga gritted his teeth, humiliated.
"Damn that woman! What does she want? There's no need to go this far just to humiliate me."
Seeing Garaga bare his fangs at her,
Tagorihime clenched her fists. "Still refusing to submit? Then I'll show you the difference between us."
She was about to use Senjutsu when Ichikishimahime and Tagitsuhime quickly grabbed one of her arms each. "Stop it! Garaga's one of us!"
Tagorihime gritted her teeth and glared at Garaga. "If you don't want to die, spit him out right now."
Though the two Goddesses were holding her arms, Tagorihime could still spread her hands and use Senjutsu.
The sand and gravel on the ground began to churn again, about to swallow Garaga.
Garaga felt as though he were trapped in a swamp. The harder he struggled, the deeper he sank.
The sand and gravel were devouring his body on their own.
They kept tearing at him. His scales were tough enough to stop blades and swords, but the sand and gravel pierced them in no time.
Garaga roared in agony.
His cries echoed throughout the cavern.
"Roar!"
The White Snake Sage was resting in her cave when she heard the roar. She opened her eyes and frowned.
After sensing what was happening, she shook her head and went back to sleep.
Garaga roared, "Tagorihime, what are you trying to do? If you want revenge on me, aren't you afraid the White Snake Sage will punish you?"
Only then did he remember the White Snake Sage.
Until now, he had always been insolent toward her.
Tagorihime gritted her teeth. "Before she can punish me, I'll make sure you're dead."
"Why are you fighting among yourselves?"
Just as Tagorihime finished speaking, a familiar voice came from beside her.
