At the foot of the high wall, along the edge of Alabasta's coastline.
Igaram was directing the royal guards, first having the ship turn sideways and press close against the wall. Then they dropped the anchors to the seabed and used steel cables to connect the ship to the wall.
They needed to create a relatively sturdy "platform."
That was Lynn's request.
The wall stood almost flush against the coastline, leaving less than half a meter of ground for people to stand on. If they wanted to do anything to that wall, they at least needed a relatively open foothold.
After much deliberation, Igaram ultimately decided to use Alabasta's ship to accomplish this. Once the anchors and cables had all been secured, he had the guards dive underwater and add several iron chains between the hull and the seabed.
Once everything was done, the ship was practically fused to the wall.
Igaram directed the guards through their final inspection, while his gaze kept drifting toward the man sitting cross-legged on the deck.
Lynn Barek sat cross-legged on the deck, his arms folded across his chest, his breathing calm and even.
Igaram could tell at a glance that he was not simply resting with his eyes closed. Lynn was adjusting every inch of his muscles, warming up for battle.
And Lynn's opponent this time was right before them—
The wall.
Half an hour earlier, Igaram had rubbed his temples in disbelief at Lynn's words. He could not believe that this man truly intended to punch a hole through a wall of unknown thickness!
In response, Lynn gave them a reason that left everyone dumbfounded:
"Alabasta is your home. Of course you should go home through the front door!"
Igaram had thought Lynn was joking, but the moment he saw Lynn's expression,
