The two Kryptonian soldiers said nothing. They stepped up beside Faora and took positions on either side of her.
Clearly, the three of them had chosen to take on Du Mu alone.
Against a villain like Du Mu, who stood in the way of Krypton's rise, there was no need to worry about fighting fair. They could just gang up on him.
Faora wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand and warned the two soldiers, "Don't get close to him. There's something strange about that green stone in his hand. Once you get within a certain range, your body will rapidly weaken."
The two Kryptonian soldiers nodded, and red light flared in their eyes.
The next instant, four beams of Heat Vision blasted toward Du Mu through waves of scorching air.
If they couldn't get close, they would pin him down from a distance.
A Kryptonian's Heat Vision carried more than extreme heat. It also packed tremendous force. Even in the Ultron Armor, Du Mu would feel it if one of those beams hit him.
Du Mu moved the instant their eyes began to glow.
He vanished from where he stood and raced through the ruins, trying to close the distance between himself and the three Kryptonians.
If he could get close enough, the Kryptonite's radiation would reach them, and the advantage would swing back to him.
But these Kryptonians weren't mindless brutes.
Now that they knew Kryptonite posed a deadly threat, none of them gave him the slightest chance to get close.
Whenever Du Mu advanced, they retreated, sweeping the area with Heat Vision as they went. They had no intention of letting him enter the danger zone.
And so the fight took a peculiar turn.
Du Mu, an Earthling mage,
