It was said that Amanda Waller was also the director of an agency called A.R.G.U.S.

It seemed that whether in the Marvel universe or the DC universe, there was always a Black slave-driver director somewhere.

However, this Amanda Waller was far more ruthless than Nick Fury.

At most, Nick Fury was just scheming and loved screwing people over. Back then, he had spun the Skrulls a grand promise and tricked them into working as unpaid labor for who knew how many years.

Amanda Waller, on the other hand, was black through and through, inside and out. To achieve her goals, she would stop at nothing.

Take the Suicide Squad under her command. Every member had a nanobomb implanted in their body. Whoever dared disobey an order would be turned into fireworks on the spot.

By using this direct threat over life and death, she forced a group of superpowered individuals and hardened criminals to do her dirty work in the shadows. Her methods were more villainous than those of plenty of Super Villains.

Of all the pieces Amanda Waller controlled, Enchantress was undoubtedly the strongest.

She was a purely supernatural entity, with an exceptionally versatile range of magical abilities, including but not limited to teleportation, magical blasts, creating illusions, mind control, and more.

All her skill points had gone into magic. Her close-combat ability was practically zero—a mage build that had clearly gone down the wrong path.

Bruce Wayne said gravely, "The energy fluctuations of the anomalous entity that attacked Midway City closely match Enchantress's. There's a strong possibility that Enchantress is her accomplice."

"Also, as far as I know, Enchantress has broken free of Waller's control and is most likely in Midway City as well. They must be plotting something there. We need to act quickly and stop them."
