Uchiha Izuna and Uchiha Fugaku exchanged a glance. Uchiha Izuna smiled and said, "Thank you, Lord Hokage and Hokage aide, for training with us today! Until we meet again!"
A direct confrontation with Sarutobi Hiruzen was clearly unwise at this point. Only the people who had been there from the beginning knew the full story of what had happened today.
There was no need to mention Root. Its members would never dare reveal anything about what had just happened. They were absolutely loyal to Shimura Danzō and would protect his interests.

Sarutobi Hiruzen spoke with a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "The Uchiha Clan truly produces one hero after another. To have such an immense amount of chakra at your age is remarkable."
"You flatter me, Lord Hokage. It must've been quite a feat to get where you are, too," Uchiha Izuna replied with a grin.
Sarutobi Hiruzen's mouth twitched. His gaze turned cold, and he swept his sleeve. "Let's go!" Anger colored his voice, entirely undisguised.
While Uchiha Izuna was still basking in his triumph, Uchiha Fugaku smacked him on the back of the neck. "You brat! Have you lost your mind? You went straight up against Sarutobi Hiruzen!"
"Dad, you attacked him too, so why are you blaming me? We're as bad as each other! The moment you struck, hadn't you already decided to take Sarutobi Hiruzen on?"
"Besides, Minato's here this time, and we're in the right. If those major clans aren't stupid, they shouldn't get involved."
"After all, if a hero's son can be humiliated and a hero's estate confiscated, then what hope do those wealthy clans have?"
"Don't you agree?" Uchiha Izuna looked toward the major ninja clans in the woods.
About twenty minutes later, people began emerging one after another. Their expressions varied, but they all studied Uchiha Izuna carefully.
They knew only a little about the battle they had just witnessed; they hadn't seen the whole thing.
At that moment, Minato Namikaze appeared. "Minna-san, long time no see!"
He had a smile on his face. Since Naruto Uzumaki was possessed, his appearance now closely resembled Minato Namikaze's. Many people froze when they saw Naruto Uzumaki like this.
"Y-Young... Minato?" one clan leader murmured.
"Oh, Clan Leader Ida, it's been a long time. You were still a youngster back then, but now you've grown so much more composed!" Minato Namikaze replied.
Clan Leader Ida trembled all over. "Young Minato! It really is Young Minato! Young Minato is back!"
Minato Namikaze smiled, then invited the clan leaders to his home to catch up.
"Ding! Congratulations, host, on completing the mission. Rating: S. Reward: thirty AK47s. Keep up the good work."
A large number of AK47s appeared in the System Space, lying quietly in their slots. But Uchiha Izuna was anything but calm.
His mind went blank. AK47s? Holy crap, this thing could be a reward too? He hurriedly checked them out!
He found that all thirty AK47s came with only one magazine. That meant each gun could fire only one burst.
In the Shinobi World, where attacks were strong and defenses weak, the arrival of rifles could pose a huge threat to elite jonin! The key was that there was no barrier to using a rifle.
Even a seven-year-old child could pick one up and spray bullets.
Kage Level fighters had all kinds of abilities—healing, defense, speed—and had already reached the peak of human capability. Ordinary bullets couldn't hurt them.

Uchiha Itachi pointed toward Naruto's house without saying a word.
Uchiha Izuna nodded. "All right, let's head back. Lots of big shots will be trying to make conversation at a gathering like that. We shouldn't get mixed up in it."
"Minato Namikaze may be furious, but at the end of the day, he's only a soul now. Who knows how long he can last? Besides, it's his son's body."
"I think today he probably wants Father and the other clan leaders to look after his son, not to discuss politics at length."
Uchiha Shisui frowned. "You mean Young Minato won't tell them how his son is doing?"
"How Naruto's doing hardly needs saying, does it? Now that Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, is here, all he has to do is say Naruto is his son."
"He wasn't a capable ruler, but he was a true Hokage, one who gave his life to protect everyone!"
Uchiha Izuna looked toward Naruto's house and sighed.
"So what do we do next?" Uchiha Shisui asked. He wasn't as sharp as Uchiha Izuna, so he knew that if they wanted to stage a Coup d'état, they needed to listen to him.
Uchiha Itachi also looked at his second younger brother, curious to see what he would do.
Uchiha Izuna's lips curled upward. "Obviously, we print newspapers!" His lips curled upward. Newspapers—how novel! In a world without much of an internet, whoever controlled public opinion controlled the political agenda!
