As Uchiha Izuna admired his wife, a knock sounded at the door and pulled him from his thoughts.

Who could it be at this hour?

Uchiha Izuna rubbed the bridge of his nose and looked at him. "Understood. Anything else?"

"A rift has appeared near Konoha's border," the Anbu Ninja continued. "An immense amount of chakra is leaking from it."

"It's serious. We've sealed off the surrounding area, but the rift grows larger every day. We need your decision, Lord Hokage."

Uchiha Izuna's expression turned grave. A rift like that sounded like a portal.
