Background / History

Mu Tianchen was born to the Holy Dragon Family, whose inherited martial soul was the Bright Holy Dragon. His father, the family’s final patriarch and a rank-98 Super Douluo, was killed by the Ghost Emperor while fighting the Holy Spirit Cult; the family was subsequently destroyed. Before his death, Mu Tianchen’s father entrusted him to Tang Ziran and Lang Yue, who raised him as their adopted son. He retained the surname Mu and became Tang Wulin’s elder brother. 1

He is a transmigrator: before arriving in the Douluo world, he was a newly graduated college student who died in an accident involving a heavy-duty truck. Familiar with the history of the continent, he sought an early martial-soul awakening at age six and paid ten thousand federal credits to undergo the process. 1

After awakening the Holy Dragon of Light and receiving innate level-20 soul power, he joined the Spirit Pagoda and became the disciple of Sky Phoenix Douluo Leng Yaozhu. He also continued pursuing blacksmithing under Mang Tian, resolving to become a Divine Craftsman. 7 22

Mu Tianchen spent nine years cultivating at Spirit Pagoda Headquarters, where he became a three-ring Soul Elder at age nine and later a six-ring Soul Emperor at fifteen. His growing disagreement with Pagoda Master Qiangu Dongfeng’s philosophy ultimately led him to leave the organization. 45 54
